So often school career counselors and advisers hurt the psyche of our children in Junior High, High School and even later on in College. This is a tragedy indeed. Now then, I have seen career guidance folks in the public schools shoot down kids dreams too often, these advisers need to handle themselves better and stop limiting and putting into the minds of kids that they are not suited for their dream. These advisers do an injustice to kids and it is sickening.

There are too many stories of kids growing up to be doctors, pilots, executives, lawyers and going back to these advisors and saying; See You Were Wrong. It hits that hard that when they are adults they remember these jaded individual advisers. Why would someone go out of his or her way to go back to his or her HS seek out the guidance counselor and show them their business cards?
