Work Ethics in America on the Decline
Some say that work ethic in America is in decline, but is it really or are Americans simply getting too over weight and feel more lackadaisical when performing tasks? Is this then triggering a perception of laziness in some and a work effort riddled with excuses, delegation and blame gaming with most?We have so many important jobs in our society that must be done, but if everyone is lazy, has a poor diet and refuses to put forth their best efforts, then all the work cannot get done on time and correct the first time. This in fat will lead to inefficiencies, increased costs and more work being created.If more work is being created due to humans working less in their own civilizations then they will need to import others to help them do the work. But if they import a lesser class of citizen to do this work then they will cause animosity amongst the masses and further hardships down the road in the form of protests, demonstrations, boycotts and angry underpaid, under appreciated, second class citizen work force.The poor work ethics and work force of America today is leading to an over all economic decline and tearing down at the fabric of society as a whole. We need a war on mediocrity, laziness and this new paradigm of “blame game” style excuses being currently promoted by Donald Trump’s Reality TV Series; “You’re Fired” and we may wish to consider the affect this change in attitude is having on our over all civilization. Niche marketing is basically the process of finding small profitable market segments... corners of a market. Areas that are NOT broad but very defined or specialized. I find my way into really competitive markets and get sales just from my keyword research. I just find a little niche that hasn't been tapped... When selling a product, a lot of people make the mistake of developing their product first, and then trying to find a market for it. Of course, the process should be reversed.1. You must be able to find good product sources, but you also must know if there is a market for that source. The Jury Is In… And It’s A Split Decision On The Google Book Search Program
The jury is in… and it’s a split decision. Split on the Google Book Search Program that is. Some people love it. Others think it’s the apocalypse. I really don’t want to get into the legal ramifications, copyright law and every other argument out there. The bottom line: From a book marketing standpoint, it’s a good thing. Why? It’s simple. People can’t buy what they don’t know about. Google Book Search lets people find a book with the topic they’re searching for and allows them to peek inside. If they like it, and want more they can buy it.Most authors should open up their books to Google and submit them. I say “most.” There are some that should think twice. Academic books that have a low print run and have tiny markets, where there may only be hundreds or dozens of potential buyers may be better off avoiding Google Book Search. For the remaining 378,000 books published in the U.S. and U.K. in 2005, I say go for it!And that’s the point. The world is awash in books. Bowker says 172,000 books were published in the United States, plus 206,000 published in the UK last year! How can Borders, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, your local library or anyone else effectively sell or showcase that number let alone the millions of previously printed titles? Google has created a way for author’s and publisher’s current and back-listed books to be found, read and purchased. Book marketers, authors and publishers should embrace this enthusiastically.Are there some issues in the program? Yes, and Google in my opinion is trying to deal with them by keeping the rules and policies flexible and by reacting to the feedback and legal decisions. But they are truly trying to move the world forward and improve distribution of knowledge while still protecting copyrights and ownership of that information. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which evaluates and recommends standards for web technologies, has endorsed the RDF standard. PEARL has been engaged to work with UFIL, to enforce the claims, since 1999.
