Yes You Can! How to Write a Report or E-course
In my article about offering bonuses, I suggested writing your own report as one possible bonus. You could also write a report or ecourse as a stand-alone product. You may find the very thought of writing these intimidating, so I'll help you get started.I'm assuming you are working with a website or product in a well-defined niche area, one in which you are at least somewhat knowledgeable. I'll also assume you have been writing web copy, articles and/or sales letters. You've already generated lots of information.Whatever you are planning to write always starts with what you know, and the easiest way to get started with that blank page is to make a list. So make a list of what you already know about your topic. Do this quickly; it should be easy because you can just write down the titles of articles you've already written.I'll talk about writing a report, but the onl

    Knowledge is Business
Knowledge is the business fully as much as customer is the business. Physical goods or services are only the vehicle for the exchange of customer purchasing power against business knowledge”.Above statement was made by Peter F. Drucker, a prominent Management and marketing guru.Any economic result is the result of differentiation. What is that niche you posses that make you hot property in any market. It comes from knowledge. Knowledge is held by organization people. One day all labour can be automated by machines. But knowledge specifically is a human asset. If you have knowledgeable people you can target the sky. Books are more collection of information. Internet is one of the best medium for generating information on particular subject. But information is not a business.Knowledge itself is not a business when used inside. When it do not produce value to the holde
Designing a good looking web-site is not enough - one must ensure that quality customers visit it regularly. Search Engine being one of the most important sources of traffic to any web-site - web designers should pay enough attention to make their creation search engine friendly.

To understand search engine friendly features of any web-site, it is important to examine how a search engine works. There are essentially two kinds of search engines - directory and spider based search engines.

    Directory Type Search Engine

This type of search engines list websites under categories (sometimes called category database). They have large number of categories to fit all kinds of web-pages. Largely managed by human beings, the two outstanding features of any directory are accuracy and selectivity.

Directories are extremely selective about web-pages to be accepted. A directory will not list your URL and will never become aware of your site unless you register with them. They do not make use of spiders or robots that crawl the web looking for new sites.

Examples of Directories are Yahoo, DMoz Open Directory. Look Smart etc.

Listing of a web-site in a directory type search engine depends a great deal on editorial policy of concerned directory. For example, Yahoo charges USD 300 to examine a business web-site within a specified time. The web-site is indexed if Yahoo editor finds it list-worthy. On the other hand, DMoz open directory works with voluntary editors and does not charge any money for inspection or indexing. However, the listing process may take long time.

Wholesaler Contacts - A Must for any Business, Now Made Exceptionally Easy to Find
Can I deal with wholesalers; If you have a proof of trading, which can be as little as a letterhead or your business card, you as an individual or group are entitled to deal with a wholesaler. Even if you don't have that, most wholesalers realise the fact that everybody has to start somewhere. Remember that wholesalers need the business just as much as you need the products, so it is doubtful that you will be turned away if you have a real interest in their products.First Contact; So when contacting them, be confident and purposeful when approaching them, and focus on finding exactly what the wholesaler has to offer. If possible I would always suggest going and visiting the wholesaler in person unless of course they are a serious, and well known wholesaler that has been in business for a good length of time. Telephone calls and emails are generally thought of as

Strategic Planning Process - SWOT Analysis
What is SWOT Analysis? It is an abbreviation for Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats. It is a tool widely used as an integral part of Strategic Planning Process. There are many ways how a SWOT analysis is used. It is not my intention to compare what are the differences but to share how I used it in my Strategic Planning workshops.Strength This is an internal factor deals with the strength in the operation. It is internal because it takes into considerations of the level of competence for their internal capability. They are many factors in an operation that can be considered as strength. How to Collect the Money
A professional online business needs an effective way to collect payments for the items they market online. There are several options available for collecting money each of which have their own pro's and con's.MERCHANT ACCOUNT:A merchant account is issued by a bank and will allow you to accept credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover. You process payment just like your neighborhood retailer would; however, in most cases you will be operating a "Virtual Terminal" as you will not have the physical credit card available. You simply "settle" your account electronically each day and the funds from your daily sales are forwarded electronically to your own business checking account. Once they are in your business account they are available for immediate withdrawal, so you will receive your proceeds quite quickly.A disadvantage to a small business just sta

Designer should check requirement of individual directories to decide on categories, title, meta tags etc. Submission for such directories should always be manual - one should not try automated submission for directory type search engines.

Listing in a quality directory is usually difficult and time consuming. However, the respect and page rank it provides is worth the effort.

    Spider Based Search Engines

Unlike directory-type search engines, spider-based search engines (also called crawlers, robots, worms) seek out web-pages by crawling through the WWW and automatically index sites using its own indexing rules or algorithm. It will not wait for you to submit, but try to seek out as many web-sites as it can find and index them.

By simply telling the search engine what your URL is, its software robot will go there automatically and index everything they need. How much it will index and to what degree depends upon its algorithm - usually a closely guarded secret.

Overwhelming number of search-engines in the WWW are spider-based. Examples are - Google, AltaVista, Lycos, InfoSeek etc.

Getting listed in a spider based web-site is not difficult - all it takes is to submit your web-site URL - manually or through an automated process. However, position of your web-site in search result (popularly called ranking) will depend upon many factors - some within your control, oth
