You are Guaranteed To Win and Keep More Customers Without the Missing Link
On a recent family visit to the English Lake District my consulting instincts were aroused. Perhaps you never lose it and look for things like the missing link. For many years to break regular journeys to Scotland we stayed at a superb hotel. The hotel on the side of lake Ullswater offers country house accommodation, a lovely view, walks alongside the lake and superb cuisine. In recent years our journeys to Scotland have been less frequent so when we had reason to travel to the Lake District for a few days
d use the domain of the host-site. For example if you are using Geocities your web address where your site is located will be http://www.geocities.com/yoursite.com.

If you want to have your own domain your in luck, these days it is not that expensive to have your own domain, its just for businesses anymore, for as little as 40 or 50 dollars you can register a domain and pay for hosting for 1 year and your web address is then http://www.yoursite.com, much better if you ask me. Search for ”website hosting” on any search engine and you will have

Google Adsense is a Viable Advertising Method
One of the best ways to make money with your web site is to sell advertising space. Many people can work with different companies to get them to create banners or other advertisements for their web site. Then these people work out some kind of payment system with the companies that advertise on their site. However this is not a very easy way to do business and you have to make sure that the advertisements that the company creates for your page actually work with your web site. One of the biggest problems that
Creating a high quality website is something many people would like to do. Most however never get around to it. They feel it’s something other people do and ”normal” people don’t. That attitude is simply false. If you have thought of creating your own website nothing should stop you, it can be relatively easy to do depending on your intentions. There are two main types of websites: 1) Those for personal use (family, friends and not for profit), and 2) those intended to earn the owner money (for profit).

This article focuses on websites created for personal reasons such as sharing photos, chronicling travels for family members to stay up to date with you while you’re away, creating a site for you and your fiance all about your wedding plans. Whatever you want to do, it is possible. The first thing you will want to do is find a web publishing program you can use called a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). These programs allow you to create a website quickly and without the need for any programming in HTML or any other web design language. Examples of these programs are Microsoft Front Page, Adobe Dreamweaver and the list goes on from there. There are free WYSIWYG programs on the internet, just browse the search engines.

Once you have found the program you like best its time to get started. When creating your site remember to make it very simple for users to understand and navigate. Make menus very clearly labeled and keep images to a minimum unless images are the main theme of that particular page. Maintain a consistent color theme for your site and do not stray from it (i.e. if links are blue and test is black on your first page, they should be on all of your other pages as well. You should not have blue links and black text on one page and red links with yellow text on another).

After you have your main pages together (index.html and a couple of other pages full of content). It’s time to start thinking of where you will put your website. Now there are plenty of free places that will host your site for you, which means you will have no costs whatsoever, and for many people this is perfect. The main drawback of this is that the URL for your site will be long and use the domain of the host-site. For example if you are using Geocities your web address where your site is located will be http://www.geocities.com/yoursite.com.

It has enabled the sharing of information especially in real time in a way that was once thought of as being impossible. The internet as a means of communication has enabled selling via internet which in itself has brought about tremendous advantages that will now be examined.A major advantage of selling via internet is the ability to reach anyone. Crafting Content to Attract AdWords Marketing Ads
Google has a two part advertising program that benefits advertisers and website owners. AdWords marketing is a Google cost-per-click advertising program that website owners can use to promote their internet business through the search engines. The advertisements placed through the AdWords marketing program are displayed as sponsored links in Google's search results and on websites belonging to website owners who participate in the Google AdSense program, Google's second advertising pro

I Hate My Job But I'm Trapped
How many times have we heard "I hate my job but I'm trapped in it", or a variation of it? Have many times have we thought or said it ourselves? Many of us give our best hours of our days, and the best years of our lives to our employers. Why? Some of us are fortunate enough to be in jobs we really like. We'd work for free. But even then, it would be nice to have the flexibility of taking time off when we wanted to, to do other things we like. Most of us are in the job for the paycheck. We drag ourselves out of be

Now you have a website ready for publishing, an address for people to find it at, and space to host your site, now all you need is to get your site onto your hosts site and into the folder for your site. For this you will need an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program. Some WYSIWYG programs have FTP built in so you can upload your website with the same program you create it with, simplifying the process. If you do not have this luxury then you will need to download an FTP program, some are free other cost just a bit and are worth it. SmartFTP is a nice little program that I myself use quite often, it is worth paying the small fee to register. There are of course many programs to choose from so you may want to do a bit of testing to see which you like best.

Once you have the FTP program simply enter your domain (www.yoursite.com), your username and password you received when you got your hosting account and click to connect to your domain. Then it is simply a matter of finding your pages and moving copies of them over to your domain (uploading them). Just remember that your main page must be index.html and your images should be kept in a folder called images.

You can always update your pages and simply upload them with your FTP program, overwrite the old version and voile, your site has been updated with the changes you made.
