There's Never A Bad Time For A Great Sales Promotion
I love spring! The warm days, sunshine, fresh flowers…it's a welcome relief from colder, shorter, wetter winter months. Plus, it's a built-in great opportunity for a sales promotion! From March 21 - June 20, you can run a promotion targeted at both existing and new customers. There's never a bad time for a great sales promotion and spring is real-made for such an event. There are two broad elements of a good promotion to remain mindful of: time and reward. Time limit your promotions to create an urgency to act and include a reward to benefit those that act within the time you offer. For example, you can offer a spring promotion whereby a new customer gets a discount or a premium added to their order if placed between March 21 and June 20. I prefer to offer a reward as opposed to giving discounts. Rewards preserve the value of your product or service and don't set a precedent of a lower price for an established offering.Get creative with the rewards you offer as purchase incentives. What I do is take the value of the discount I'm comfortable giving and use that as a budget for the premium I offer. For example, if you are in the business of selling outdoor gear, you could run a spring promotion to sell kayaks. Let's say the average price of the kayaks you sell are $1000 and you're comfortable discounting the kayaks 20%. You coul

    The easy ways

There are two easy ways to get a site with high PageRank:

Buy one – at any given time there are thousands of websites offered for sale on ebay and other sites with moderately high PR. You can buy one in an industry of your choosing and adapt it to your needs. When your site is new you will have a PR of 0. But that’s not a problem if you, or a close friend, own another site with a high PR. Lets say the other site has a PR5 website. If you link to your new site from all the pages of the high PR site, then the new site would

I had the privilege to interview a regular guy (not a well-known 'Guru') who claims making more than $200 a day with Google AdSense Program. Here's an excerpt from the interview I did for my upcoming eBook - 'AdSense Confessions' - read it and try to apply what you learn iniside, it should make a difference in your AdSense income and profits.--- Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? ---My name is John Tulus. I was born in October of 1966 in C?rdoba, Argentina, South America.--- How did you get started to make money on the Internet? ---I started with small projects like web sites for friends. After some time of developing web sites for others, I knew it was time to start to work on the ideas for developing my own site, my own online company. I put all my ideas together, combined them with the experience I had achieved developing web sites for others, and put in motion the creation of my site. Once the site was up and running, all I had to do was start generating traffic and wait for the money to roll in. I remember the first cheque I received... what a rush!! $29. That motivated me to keep on with the project of the life that I desired.--- Do you prefer AdSense over Affiliate Programs promotion? ---Yes, I prefer Google Adsense over any other affiliate
The higher the PR of your site the higher will be its search engine position. So the goal is to get lots of sites linking to your site. But quality is much more important than quantity. The higher the PR of the sites that link to yours the more they boost your sites PR.

When planning your effort, always remember than one link from a PR-6 or PR-7 site is worth indefinitely more than hundreds of links from PR-0 or PR-1 sites.

In addition, you should aim to include your link on pages with as few other links as possible. Pages with over 25 links have little value. Additional factors that go into the algorithm include the amount of different sites that point to yours (10 links from 10 different sites count much more than 10 links from the same site) and the inclusion of your keywords in the text of the links.

As a general rule of thumb, a one-way, high PageRank link will give your site a PR two points below that of the linking page. So a link from a PR-8 site should get your site a PR-6. However, at the lower end of the scale, I have seen a PR-5 turn a new PR-0 site into a PR-4.

The effects of having a high PageRank (PR)

Most industries, market niches and business sectors only have a PR5 or PR6 site as the top ranking result. The implication is that you can dominate a niche or local market on search engines without investing too much money or time. For example, you can buy keyword rich text links on networks of sites that have a PR of 8-9 for $ 500-2,000 a month. Doing this is likely to get you a PR of 6 or 7 right out the gate. The implication is that your site will appear as number one when users search Google for key phrases related to your market niche.

    Where to start

Before starting to actually work on improving your PR, be sure to install the Google Toolbar on your browser. The Toolbar shows a value (on a log scale) of 0-10 for each website that corresponds to the underlying PR of that page. The average website with little or no marketing support is typically PR1 to PR3. Google is updating the PR level it displays in the Google Toolbar about once every three months so patience is required until you can see the results of any PR building campaign.

Since PR is all about links you’ll have to know who already links to you. You can either use the Google Toolbar by selecting "Backward Links" or type in Google “link:www.yourpage.com”

Internet Marketing - How to Choose a Niche Market
Internet Marketing – How to Choose a Niche MarketInternet marketing is such a big field and so many people get involved on the internet just to make money. And that is okay, I think – that is why I am online. I am in this thing to make money. But I think that sometimes people fail to realize that when they get started online, they can make money in whatever field they want to, in whatever niche they want to. Many times, new people don’t have to get any specialized skills to be able to make money online, they can simply start making money in the area of their hobby or their own personal skillset.Just about everything that you already know something about, can be a niche market that you can use to make money online with.Think about your hobby areas. What do you like to do? Fishing, Crocheting, Cooking, or Cleaning? What do you know something about that you could teach someone else? Almost without fail, there is interest online. How do you find out? Well, there are a lot of sophisticated techniques people use to find out how much a topic is researched or queried online, or to find out how many web sites there are, but that doesn’t give you much more than the raw numbers.Try this. Write one article each on each of your possible niche topics and submit each of them to the three top three article direc

Internet Marketing and Gender: Knowing Your Buyer(s) Will Increase Your Bottom Line
Before you begin your marketing campaign, you must first understand the audience you’re targeting, beginning with their interests, experience, and expectations. As you may expect, there are many differences among Internet user groups categorized by gender, age, income, and other demographic factors. Internet users vary in areas such as techno-savvy, frequency of use, or purpose for usage. These differences may be surprising. It’s challenging to first interpret the data, and then modify your marketing strategy to meet the demands of the users in your niche. To simplify this process, take a look at some of the gender-related trends outlined below and the business lessons they teach.Gender differences and SERPsLet’s first consider exactly who uses the Internet. *Two-thirds of the American population is now online. On an average day, there are about 68 million people online, who make up approximately 53% of all Internet users. 86% of women aged 18-29 are online, but only 80% of men in that range are. Of those Internet users who are 65 or older, 34% of the men are online - but only 21% of the women.Gender differences also play a role in Internet and search engine usage. Men seem to show a greater interest in technology over communication online. Some 88% of male users have used search engines: 40% of males use them da

Hire An Internet Marketing Expert For Online Success
It never ceases to amaze me how many otherwise intelligent people set-up a website, without any type of plan or clue about how to promote it, how to write a sales letter, how to write an ad--nothing! Fact is, nowadays, anyone can have a website. But once you get one, then what? How are you going to make money with it?If you don't know what you're doing, then do the smart thing and hire an Internet marketing expert. What? You say you can't afford to hire an Internet marketing expert. Well, believe it or not, there are other ways to hire an Internet marketing expert, besides paying an expensive flat rate or hourly fee.You can hire an Internet marketing expert by simply buying his products. So, why should you buy his products?Because Internet marketing experts are masters at marketing. They've already arrived at the place you want to get to. They also derive great pleasure from sharing their incredible knowledge. They have the answers to every single one of your questions. All you have to do is ask them. However, you shouldn't expect any Internet marketing expert to spend their valuable time mentoring you for free. Like I mentioned earlier, at the very least, you have to buy their products. I mean, let's get real. You wouldn't walk into a doctor's or lawyer's office and expect to get free help and advice.<

    TQM
One company that has implemented quality and has a had success from it is British Gas. British Gas has a comprehensive business management system in place that encompasses quality management, environmental management and Investors in People. This system is subjected to regular external review by specialist independent assessment bodies as well as internal challenge, providing a framework for continual improvement. All operations employees are regularly assessed for safety and technical competence and improvement actions put in place where appropriate.Total Quality- what it is and what it is not has been debated endlessly by people involved at all levels. Many are still confused, and whilst confusion reigns the opportunities continue to slip away.As competition in the global marketplace increases the importance of quality and in particular Total Quality Management (TQM) has become a key management issue within most major corporations. More and more companies are applying the principles of TQM and the topic is well publicised in many books and papers. The procurement function plays a key role within any company, as they are the link between the business and its suppliers. In essence the buyers interpret the requirements of the business and convert this into the materials required to satisfy the needs of the cust

If you link to your new site from all the pages of the high PR site, then the new site would automatically get at least a PR4. If you don’t own a high PR site and neither do your friends, don’t worry. There are other options.

    Buy Links with High PageRank

You can easily buy PR buy renting text links from sites that have high PR. Links can be acquired through numerous intermediary sites such as Linkadage, Linkauctions or Text-Link-Ads. Typical rates for high PR links are:

    PR5 text link: $7-20/mo.
    PR6 text link: $25-$50/mo.
    PR7 text link: $65-$100/mo.
    PR8 text link: $100-200/mo.
    PR9 text link: $ 700-1300/mo

But buying links is best if used as a short term strategy to support a campaign for several months. For long terms purposes, move away from the pay for high PR links and seek other methods such as high quality reciprocal link partners, directory listings or improved content. Directory Links

The most popular directories are Yahoo and DMOZ. But paying $ 299 a year for inclusion in Yahoo’s directory is usually not a wise investment since too many sites are listed in each page and the PR benefit you’ll receive is inadequate. Inclusion in the DMOZ is free and important but unfortunately most sites get rejected or ignored.

You should seek those directories that have a high PR on their homepage but more important also on the category that interests you. The PR your website will receive from inclusion on these directories is also a function of the number of other links on the page where your site’s link will appear. The fewer links, the higher the PR you will receive. So your top priorities are directories with high PR and few other links in the relevant category page. Visit Directoryarchives to find lists of niche directories to submit your link.

Some of the older directories have over time built up a PR6 or PR7. But the smaller and newer directories typically buy their PR through text links ads on more popular sites. In turn they typically charge a $ 25-40 registration fee. Some of these newer directories have smaller category structures which mean that you may buy a link that will deliver a PR4 or PR5 that may last many years for that one time fee.

    Copy your Competitors
