If you think this is bizarre consider this. My graphic artist could sense I didn’t want to use clip art in my brochures so she suggested we go out into the streets and shoot real people, sitting in restaurants, talking on their cells--now that’s a rare shot!

I thought it might work, but then I said we’d have to get releases from them to use their likenesses. Their images are their property, and like those primitives who think you steal souls with snapshots, today’s lawyers believe you steal money this way.

I nixed the idea.
