    Rambling of a Network Neophyte
I am by and far not the authority or expert in internet network marketing. I only recently dove into this adventure after some consideration. I am going to share with you my troubles and tribulations, and my aspirations and accomplishments. Let me first tell you how I got here.I currently work as a sports physical therapist at a prestigious academic university hospital in Philadelphia. Although I enjoy what I do (working with athletes), my job is in essence controlled by my employer. So looking for a way to increase my retirement fund, I started researching online about building wealth. I found a great newsletter, called “Early to Rise” by Mike Masterson. It is from here that I got the idea of starting a side business. At first, I tried to work as an independent speaker on issues in sports physical therapy but at
Seo is Search Engine Optimization. A magician's bag of tricks to get your web page on high SERP (Search Engine Rank Placement ) and High PR (Page Rank). SERP is when you search on Google for a keyword (word you are studying) like cats, you get a page of twenty web sites on cats back out of a hundred or thousand pages. SEO is the art of getting your web page to be listed for as many keywords pertaining to your site on the first page of hundreds. Since people have short attention spans, they tend not to search ten pages of returns to find your page.

That is the short skinny on the subject. If that answered enough quit reading. Still curious? Below is a more in depth but only basic description. It still is a basic description even if it lacks MTV brevity.

To get high SERP you can bid on keywords, through Google and other search engines you can bid on certain keywords. Every time someone clicks on my add in blue at the top and sides of Google pages (These are the auction listings, I will pay anywhere from .5 to $5 every time someone clicks on my site for the keywords I bid on. The one who bids the most gets to be on the first page for cats. The rest of Google is suppose to be based on scholarly research qualifications).

Write for Humans, Design for Search Engines
Search engine is all about content and every SEO gurus have been trying very hard to optimize their pages just for the search engine and often forgetting that the end user is actually the human reader. It is of paramount importance that a page has to be written for humans and designed for search engines in terms of SEO.There is nothing more important than creating unique content for a site. In SEO, allocating keywords in the title, header and bold HTML tags not only helps the reader to identify the topic of a page easily but it also aids in optimization since search engine takes into consideration of the keywords in these tags. Many writers are concerned about the perfect keyword density for the maximum benefit of SEO. Unfortunately, there are no hard figures for a perfect keyword percentage. T

Federal Trade Commission; over regulation, who does it help?
Why is the Federal Trade Commission harassing the Franchising Industry? Their new rulemaking ploy to gain notoriety and status is obviously another agency attempt to spotlight themselves in the media to look like they are doing something. This helps the FTC with keeping their large budget going and the tactics of PR and puffery are well known to those industries that are regulated by the FTC. The latest franchise rulemaking going on now is just more over regulation and minutia piled on top of the bureaucracy. This is of course a disaster for the battle scared war veterans of the last two decades in franchising. The Federal Trade Commission ought set themselves up to handle the change in the political climate of the next four years and be ready to downsize and focus their efforts where they are needed. Choose your Domain Name Wisely
A name can make of break a web site. I am of course talking about a Domain name. You may think there is nothing to it. Pick a catchy domain name that rolls off the tongue, check that it is available and if it is go ahead and buy it. It couldn't be any harder that that can it?Well, yes it can. Just stop and think for a minute. You have bought the domain name, designed and built a great looking website, and launched it out onto that great world wide web. You have got a great Reciprocal Link Exchange on your site and you have reached a reasonable Google Page Rank. Then you decide to get an Auto responder to have a mailing list, and that is when your troubles start! Let me tell you my story…I don't know if you have heard of Stone Evans - the Home Biz Guy? He runs the Plug in Profit Site. Well I bought into

    Increase Sales - Overcoming Barriers
Ever thought to yourself, "If only my team members would complete the tasks that we mutually agreed to in our action plan."Most managers have felt this way about certain employees at some point in time.Let's face it, some employees have a very hard time consistently executing tasks that "should" be relatively simple to complete. So what are the barriers getting in the way of their success?Actually, there are several types of barriers - but perhaps not the typical sort of barriers that you may be thinking.Barriers can be classified in three major categories. Each category identifies strong barriers that, if not quickly identified and corrected by the team leader, can negatively impact the progress of your team. The Three Major Types of Barriers are: (Hint: Remember A, B, C)A-ttitude

So you need to find a keyword that people actually look for but not too many people are bidding on. You got to niche your keyword. To find appropriate keywords you check your web logs to see what words people used in search engines to bring you to your site. Also their are online tools to use that suggest keywords and give a thesaurus of options along with how many times people searched for that keyword last month.

Then we get Page Rank which is based on how many people link to you. The higher page rank used to me higher SERP. But search engines update and change to keep ahead of SEO people. Google's Jager update screwed me up. The Higher PR the higher you can charge someone to advertise on your page also. 10 is the highest. Now to get links you want people to link to you in the middle of a paragraph near the top of their page with reference to you desired keyword. By the way have you seen the updates to my Life Coaching site (http://www.docspond.org , but since html is outlawed in this article I display it this way without conventional a href tags)? This would be a better link, Natural linking, instead of a directory of 200 people to a page called mile
