When I am writing, I will often just turn off all my internet, so that I don’t even know an email is arriving – I cannot answer all my emails while I am writing and still type at 50 WPM.

Also, I am willing to work long days. I work from 8-5 Monday through Friday, and a lot of that time is spent writing. Many days I write more than 5000 words per day. Some days when I am anxious to finish a book I will work from 8 in the morning until 10 at night – barely answering the phone. But I have written as many as 15,000 words in one day.

Of course, in addition to writing my ebooks, I write articles like these – I like to get to 20 articles per day, but as you can see from my logs, I do not do that many most days. But article marketing has been my number one source of long term revenue online – it is how I sell my books and products I have created – so I keep doing it – it is like the fuel for my car.
