    There are some rules to follow in the TOS ( terms of service agreement.) One of the rules is that you cannot click on your own ads, because that would be click fraud and your account would be suspended. There are other rules like you can only put three boxes of ads per page, and you can't have ads on the same page as videos. You also can not have words like "click here" on your web pages to get visitors to click on the ads.

    Although there have been reports of people making $10,000 on Adsense a month,etc; that probably isn't likely for most of us unless you push through about 40,000 hits to ten different sites and
