I remember when Adsense first hit the scene, it was the biggest thing since the Internet itself. Once people started getting the hang of creating Adsense optimized sites, incomes were going through the roof. With the sweeping changes at Google and lower bids for content sites, Adsense income has taken a big hit. The text links are based on Clickbank products, which are very popular in a number of niches, especially Internet marketing and health related niches. AffiliateSensor is not as well known as other alternatives, but it is slowly climbing its way up in popularity.

Of course you can always head on over to other search engines such as Yahoo, Miva, MSN and so on, that have their own versions of Adsense. Okay, I know what you're thinking. With affiliate links, you're only making money if the person buys. That may be true. But how much are you making with each click? A few pennies?
