The primary reason for popularity of LLCs is their ability to combine the personal liability protection of corporations with attractive tax benefits and the simplicity of forging a partnership. In addition, they are extremely flexible and require less paperwork. LLCs can be set up as new entities, or converted from an existing business. This is dangerous not only for driving, but also for walking! Thousands of injuries occur from people slipping and falling because of ice and snow. It's estimated 12,000 Americans die each year from a fall. A worker injured from a fall on ice or snow can be off work for a long time, increasing your insurance costs and workers compensation expenses. How do you reduce injuries when your cleaning employees are getting in and out of their cars and walking across ice and snow covered parking lots? But they are not really giving the small business person a reasonable deal for their dollar. Don't get me wrong, these companies have made many millionaires providing this type of service. The millionaires aren't the contractors or small business owners if you get my drift. Sure they provide some leads that turn into paying jobs, that's what keeps them coming back. But why not have a service that provides contractors inexpensive leads in their local service area? How can a site make any money doing that? Easy, you don't charge a monthly fee for the service, and get a huge number of people to join nation wide. Also you could have products and distributors on the site to help with costs. Problem solved. I think these service sites just got a little greedy feeding off of the small contractors and construction businesses. What if there was a site that had no monthly fee, no signup charges, and all your leads in your area were priced fairly, Bingo, you have every small painting company, landscaping company, designer and remodel contractor's attention now. This service could have a second phase that would allow contractors to possibly have their own website and domain name also. And the business owners would have no need to advertise or drive hits to their own website to try to get so called free leads. I think this is a great idea that should be put into place right away, for the good of the small construction companies, painters, cabinet installers, etc. etc. etc. I think this service would be something that every contractor, in every city, in every state should have a look at, don't you? Customers would be able to find them with the click of a mouse. This could match quality leads with quality service providers nationwide. We talk about this idea more on my site.
