The new email marketing tactic you’ve probably come across just lately is: Instead of letting you make your own mind up whether you choose to join a program or not. The email marketers are choosing for you. They use your email address to provisionally sign you up in their down-line, then send you the welcome or thank you for joining link to a program you‘ve never heard of before. So be careful the next time you click on an email link, who knows what program you’ve joined. Or better still do what I do, delete the lot.
