I am often asked what is a reasonable fee to charge my clients. And on the opposite side of the coin – what should I expect to pay for a bookkeeper? A bookkeeper who is honest, trustworthy, reliable and knowledgeable is worth their weight in gold. You might find a good honest hard working person, but if they don’t have the knowledg

Dream Job - A Myth, Or Actually Possible?
Fact - many people really do not like the job they are in and they dream of better. Those hours at the boring desk job where you ponder on the meaning of life - or rather the meaning of your life - can easily be wasted. So now, it's time to stop...and get thinking and doing something that makes a difference to you, your life and l
Have you ever noticed that when you focus on something it starts to show up everywhere-like when you buy a new car? Suddenly it seems like most of the cars you see on the road are the same color as the one you just bought. It’s because that is what you are focusing on.

The same is true when you are looking for winning ideas for your next ebook-they are everywhere. You just have to focus on finding them! Here are some great places to look for your next winning topic.

    1. Look at your own experiences: I find that a lot of my ideas come from my own frustrations and problems. When I have an issue or problem, I figure out how to make the process easier, quicker or better and then turn it into an ebook or product idea and you can do the same!

    2. Tune into the media: There are more media outlets than ever that you can tap into to find great ideas for your ebooks including: newspapers, television, news websites, blogs, social networking sites, article sites and more. Take advantage of them!

    3. Keep Your Ears Open: You never know when you are going to hear a great idea. Maybe it’s hanging out at Starbucks, or while you’re having dinner in a restaurant. Keep one ear on the conversations around you but be discreet. I often used this technique to come up with great song titles (I’m a Grammy-nominated songwriter so I know it works!) but it can also provide winning ideas for ebooks!

    4. Listen To Your Clients: The best way to find new ideas is to ask your clients- if you have a list. They are the ones who will be purchasing your ebooks so listen to what they want and you will sell a lot of ebooks!

The Reward That Can't Be Bought
The Reward That Can’t Be Bought, Costs Nothing. There seems to be an assumption that employees don’t want to do a good job and that it is the function of HR to police the rules that have been put in place to force them to do a good job.In truth most employees do want to do a good job. When people don't do a good

Maryland Legislators and Lawyers Propose Franchise Rule Change
Recently the Maryland State Legislature thought it prudent to require more disclosure than is already required by law and a complete audit of each franchisee of every company, which was franchising in their state and providing jobs and tax base. It is the typical thing dumb politicians do when they have no clue as to how free enter

Living Proof of The Joint Venture Mindset
Frank Schroeder was one of the most successful insurance salesmen I ever met. He owned two Porches and two sets of electric drums and lived like a king. We did some business together and I asked him what the secret to his success was. And at this point I must digress. I have sold insurance very successfully in Canada and in South A

Also, check your email. I often get questions and suggestions from my clients in emails they send me. And, if you do free strategy sessions or a customer-appreciation day, it will give you the opportunity to find out what your clients want to know about during those as well.

    5. Brainstorm:Whether you work with a coach or a mastermind partner or group, this is another great way to get ideas for your ebooks. Sometimes you’re too close to your subject and can’t see something that is right in front of you. I’ve thrown out ideas that I thought were complete the way they were, only to have someone show me how I could take the idea even further and do it even better or make even more money with it. Never underestimate the power of brainstorming.
