Elements Of A Successful Customer Newsletter: 10-The Printing Options
You can run off a few copies of your newsletter on your computer's printer...or you can ask a professional printer to do it for you. Here are the main options.Do-it-yourself: There's a lot to be said for printing your own newsletter. If you have only a few copies to produce, it's usually cheaper and quicker to do it this way. And if you're going for a more homespun look, printing it yourself is consistent with that image.Remember, however, that printer ink is expensive, so if you are printing more

    Medical Billing - FA0 Record Fields 1 Through 6
In the previous installment in this series on medical billing, we presented an overview of what the FA0 record was for. In this installment, we're going to review the actual NSF 3.01 specifications for what is the largest record in the NSF electronic specs. On top of that, there is no limit to the number of FA0 records you can send at one time, as long as they are all legitimate charges. One thing we should clarify before actually covering the specs in case you're wondering why all the charges can't just be sent in one FA

The Pareto Principle (also known as the 80/20 rule) states that we get about 80% of results from 20% of our efforts; conversely, we get 20% of our results from the other 80% of our efforts. Of course, these numbers are not precise but merely a rule of thumb. The key is to do more of the 20% that gets results and less of the other 80% that does not get good results. Easier said than done.

How can we better apply the Pareto Principle in our business life? One obvious application is for us to focus our energy on what we do best, while simultaneously leveraging the efforts of other firms who are doing what they do best. We already naturally do that to some extent. If we are in sales, we generally do not do the accounting for our firm too. If we are an accountant, we do not design the software we use.

How can this concept be extended beyond the simple division of labor, and help us maximize revenue and profits? The key is to continue to do what you do best, while simultaneously leveraging what other firms do best. If you are a Web designer then continue to focus on designing. If you want to expand into other product or service lines, do not try to re-invent the wheel. Inste

    Sell Your Way To Wealth
Sell Your Way to WealthI’ve often asked myself what keeps salespeople or network marketers to keep on dealing with the constant ongoing rejection? Is it the passion of their products? Their huge paychecks? Do they really love what they do? Do they see a bigger picture? When I got into sales 10 years ago it was purely accidental. I needed to make some money and all I knew how to do was play music, or act. The phone was not ringing of the hook for the latter, and I couldn’t live on air and water. I really hate

Any one coach or entrepreneur can tell you it takes teamwork, time management, organizational, innovation and task-driven skills.Almost always right, but what does it take to make a great company in the world today? In either case, I would like to stress the importance of determining market demand for your entrepreneur home business products and services.Without demand, your entrepreneur home business ideas will not sell. The Six-Step Process That Grows Your Business
    1. Examine your clientele and define your ideal client. Of all the customers you’ve served in the last couple of years, who are the ones you most enjoyed working with and found most profitable? Create a profile of the client characteristics that, for you, define heaven on earth. These characteristics might include income, age, lifestyle, attitudes, motivation, profession, geography, etc. Before going on to step 2, make sure that you’ve crystallized a single type of client. If you have more than one type, choose one to s

If you want to expand into other product or service lines, do not try to re-invent the wheel. Instead, find a good firm to partner with, and resell their services under your brand. They do the work; you reap the profits.

For example, a Web designer might enter a relationship with a firm that develops permission-based email marketing services. In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that I work for EZ Publishing, the creator of the StreamSend email marketing service. This means that I can engage in shameless promotion, while at the same time help you by illustrating the Pareto Principle using an example I know very well.

The key to all this is to find an extension of your business that is a natural fit. If you are an accountant you do not want to extend your services to include pizza delivery. You would only expand your business in ways that make sense to you, and that enable you to build on what you already do well. Whatever you choose should also enable you to leverage your current client base. That is, it should be a service that your current clients are li
