Telecom Expense Management Defeats Billing Errors e to refer you to their friends. This helps build your lists. The more suspects you can pour into the funnel the better your percentages of sales will be coming out of it. Suspects become Leads and Leads develop into Customers. The whole idea is to appeal to a small market and get as many people favorable to that market coming back again and again. How do you tell if your company's telecom bill is correct? Even a home phone bill can be so intimidating that most people just pay it without much inspection. According to the Aberdeen Group, telecom is one of the largest and most poorly organized spend categories in most companies. Eighty-five percent of telecom invoices are not audited, even though seven to twelve percent of all charges are in error, which indicates the pressing need for better telecom expense management. With the average enterprise spending about 4% of its revenue on telecom, billing errors can amount to many thousands of dollars at large corporations. The above figure does not even take into account inaccurate inventory records. Horror s I have such a Blog. Dan Moran has a great one called Ask Dan Moran.com. Mine is called Profit Master. It’s free so take a look. There are a lot of others out there. Look at all the marketing blogs you can find. You can get some great ideas. The most important thing in internet ma Business Partnerships: Negatives and Positives I don’t know about you, but I have been bitten multiple times by SCAM/SPAM artists skillfully separating us from our hard earned dollars with extremely good marketing techniques. An individual diving into business ownership is a risk. An individual has to deal with all of the decision making regarding hiring and finances. Furthermore, individual business owners also have to attempt to overcome their weaknesses and present them as strengths.Due to the difficult decision making needed and the incredible amount of skill involved in owning your own business a lot of people like to involve themselves in partnerships but just like any other relationship, business partnerships have negatives and positives.1. One positive of a partnership is an increased amount of contacts. 2. Another positive is that one persons strengths can make up for another ones weaknesses. 3. An addi It happens to all of us. We try not to bite, but the hook is so well baited. It comes from our collective need to expand our sources of income. We all want to succeed. We don’t have the resources to go into business for ourselves, so we look for methodologies that won’t cost us an arm or a leg; methodologies to produce cash flow. I have a few irons in the fire myself. I am making a few bucks on autopilot. There are enough of those schemes out there. But, it’s never enough. We’re all a little greedy at heart. That being said, there are opportunities for the honest marketer to make a good living on the internet. Information sells. Articles, eZines, newsletters, even Blogs are profit generators. Heck, you can even make a few bucks by putting up custom ‘404 Error’ pages. These are the pages you land on when you miss-type the URL, or it’s no longer in use. You can also do it with your “403 and 405 Error’ pages. Use the Error Pages to market your offers. Every little bit helps. Membership sites are becoming the big opportunity. Membership sites fill a niche. So what is a membership site? It’s a website that sells monthly or yearly subscriptions to members who want access to the information and/or tools available in the site. They are relatively easy to set up. Be ready to keep your site fresh or you’ll be refunding subscriptions left and right. Your members paid their money for you to deliver information to them. Fresh information they can use in their daily lives or in their business. So don’t skimp on updating the content. There are some open source locations available where you can download the membership site software for free. Locked-Area.com is one of them. The software takes a little skill to set up. I didn’t have much trouble, but if you just can’t get it to work you can find sources on their site to set it up for you for a really nominal charge. Don’t worry; I’m not getting any affiliate commission from them. It’s an open source site. You can buy an upgrade if you need the additional services. I’ve done well enough without them. If you like to Blog you can use it to put leads into your funnel. Find a niche and start plugging offers into it. If you take it too far, it’s called SPLOGGING. Like ‘Spam’ and ‘Blogging’ spliced together. Keep your marketing low key. Make sure to offer your readers a few freebies. Find ‘Tell-A-Friend’ or ‘Refer-A-Friend’ scripts to help fill the funnel. They pop up on exit and will give your visitor a chance to refer you to their friends. This helps build your lists. The most important thing in internet mar Why Not Work Abroad? My Experience Working Overseas l a little greedy at heart.Choosing to work abroad is an option that you can use to not only take a different step in your career, but also to expand your personal horizons by experiencing a different culture and environment. After I finished university, I was sure that I wanted to work abroad before I got my career established at home in North America. New Zealand was an obvious choice for me because that’s where my mother was born and since I have citizenship there, I’d be able to enter the country and start working right away with no concern about work visas and things of that nature. So I moved to New Zealand after graduating and started looking for my first post university job! After a lot of knocking on doors – quite That being said, there are opportunities for the honest marketer to make a good living on the internet. Engaging in any activity, be it networking or attempting relationship-building, is worthless to you unless you have a fabulous, “I’m-on-fire-and-the-best-person-you’ve-met-today” attitude!Let me ask you this: would you buy from you? Why or why not? Would you do business with you? Why or why not? Chances are if the answer is “No” or “Maybe” to either of those, the reason behind it has everything to do with your attitude. They know so little about the Federal Reserve Bank and so very little about the brilliant minds, which make it all work. To get a better insight to the behind the scenes strategic planning and the intense thought which goes into making it all work I recommend you read a few books on the subject. Let’s start on an easy one for your on-going education as an Entrepreneur; I recommend you first read:“Quotations of Chairman Greenspan-Words from the man who can shake the world.” By Larry Kahaner. This was a great book, which studies Greenspan’s early days in the private sector and his many quotes throughou If you like to Blog you can use it to put leads into your funnel. The more suspects you can pour into the funnel the better your percentages of sales will be coming out of it. Suspects become Leads and Leads develop into Customers. The whole idea is to appeal to a small market and get as many people favorable to that market coming back again and again. How many times have you as a contractor had to bite your tongue? This 'biting of your tongue' and not saying exactly what you're feeling has probably saved your business. How so?Well, put yourself in your customer's boots. If you weren't happy with some job that a contractor had done for you, do you seriously think if they went 'head to toe' with you in an argument trying to convince you that you should be happy with what you ended up with, do you seriously think they would convince you?No, I didn't think so either. So now you know why it's a good thing to bite your tongue occasionally. It earns you money and the customer's respect. And they are the customers who talk. They talk to neighbours, f I have such a Blog. Dan Moran has a great one called Ask Dan Moran.com. Mine is called Profit Master. It’s free so take a look. There are a lot of others out there. Look at all the marketing blogs you can find. You can get some great ideas. The most important thing in internet marketing is not the product or products. It’s the list. Look at ways to build your list. Refer-A Friend scripts are one way. Placing banners or sites on the Traffic Exchanges is another way. Put your banners and sites on the traffic exchanges of your choice. All you have to do is to surf the exchanges a few times a week to build up credits. These credits will be used to present your advertising. In real estate this is called ‘sweat equity’. It works for marketing on the internet just as well. By using a good autoresponder to get your suspects opted-into your list will protect you around any spam complaints. When someone fills in a form or a ‘Tell-A-Friend’ script their name and email address goes into your autoresponder. The autoresponder sends them a confirmation email in return. This gives them a chance to opt-in to or opt-out of your list. When they confirm their intention their name and email address goes into your autoresponder and it starts sending them the sales letters you have in your email queue. By confirming their intent you can’t be accused of spamming. Some ISP’s WILL shut you down if you are only accused of spamming. It doesn’t matter whether you actually spammed the individual. They’ll cause you to lose a lot of business anyway. Ask Mike Filsaime about his problems with a large ISP he’s no longer using because someone accused him of spamming them. Disclaimers are worth every penny you invest to create! No matter how good your offer, plan, system, or product is, someone will not be able to make it perform. Spell out what constitutes a refund. Saying that you’ll give them their money back if not satisfied is great for the Mega-Mart. It’s not so great for the internet marketer. No matter what you do or how hard you work you won’t be able to satisfy everybody. You can even find sites that will help you with your Disclaimer. Here is a free site that helps you build your disclaimer. It is www.easyriver.com It a good place to start. Last but not least is the trust factor. When you offer your lead a product or service they trust you to deliver it to them. Don’t scam or use slick techniques to separate your customers from their money. If your customers trust you then they’ll refer you. Trust builds Respect. It’s as simple as that. Treat your customers fairly and they will come back. Again and again.
