Business Presentations and the Iranian Presidency NSF pays for NSFNET and NASA pays for NASA Science Internet, individuals pay their Internet Service Provider and their telephone company for access to the internet.[8 ibid] As Ed Krol in said in The Whole Internet User’s Guide, ”everyone pays for their part.”If you want to learn how to do the best business presentations then be sure not to take advice from the President of Iran. You see the President of Iran is trying to convince the IAEA that he wants to use nuclear power and tells the world and the people he will; Blow Israel off the Map. Interesting and ironic statements full of hypocrisy indeed; be careful not to do this in business presentations. So often when giving sales presentations the presenters will over embellish a problem and claim to solve it, yet their product, software or consulting services will only solve part of the problem and create a worsened one.The President of Iran is sponsoring International Terrorism and says he only wants to build nuclear weapons, missile warheads and atomic bombs to defend his nation? But no one is at war with Iran and Iran has oil to sell the world, why does it need to defend itself or start World War The internet, just like the light bulb and the airplane, started out as an idea. In August 1962, a researcher at MIT by the name of J.C.R. Licklider wrote a series of mem Top 7 Mistakes Made By Small Business Owners When Joining a Business Networking Referral Group In this paper I will cover the internet’s experimental beginnings, the commercialization of this technology in the present, and what the project that is taking place that will probably be the future of the internet.Business networking is a proven way to grow your business. This strategy has been formalized by numerous organizations where members provide ongoing business referrals to other members. The rules or policies vary, but for the most part, these organizations: Allow only one business per industry Have some structure to monitor the referrals Meet on a weekly basis Limit the number of missed meetings After belonging to a couple of these groups as a business coach, I have observed some consistent mistakes that small business owners have made: No strategic planWithout a strategic plan of who does what by when, these individuals are working harder not smarter. No marketing planThe marketing plan is the why for joining a particular groupNo target market identifyA lack of clarity of the pot Before I begin talking about the internet, allow me to define what is the internet, who governs it, and what is the financial impact of this technology. The internet is made up of all computer networks that use IP protocol, which operate to form a seamless network for their collective users.[3 Krol] This means that federal, commercial, and institutional networks all compose parts of the internet. This network is connected to each other by either telephone wires, cable lines, or satellite signals. These wires, lines, or signals are then pipelined from server computer to server computer until your host server transmits the electronic information into your computer. The governing body of the internet is the Internet Society (ISOC).[4 Krol] The Internet Society purpose, according to Ed Krol, is to “promote global information exchange through Internet technology”. Another governing body is the Internet Architecture Board (IAB).[5 Krol] This IAB board governs the protocol standards whereby how computers and software applications talk to each other.[6 ibid] They also make the rules on how to keep track of each 32-bit address number used by each computer on the internet. The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is the governing body who takes care of operational and near-tearm technical problems of the internet.[7 ibid] Along with all conveniences, there is a price to pay. Though information could be obtained from the internet for free, everyone has to pay for their own access to it. Just like NSF pays for NSFNET and NASA pays for NASA Science Internet, individuals pay their Internet Service Provider and their telephone company for access to the internet.[8 ibid] As Ed Krol in said in The Whole Internet User’s Guide, ”everyone pays for their part.” The internet, just like the light bulb and the airplane, started out as an idea. Ah, the wonders of the internet. The ad campaign was an innovative partnership between laddie-mag Maxim and Pontiac to hype the carmaker's Solstice Roadster. Users logged onto the magazine's website and submitted pick-up lines to an image of Perry, actually an incarnation of the beautiful celebrity compiled from hundreds of pre-recorded videos. People with the best lines registered to win a car. Depending on the attempt, the program culled Perry's retort in real time from hundreds of pre-recorded responses. The site was flooded with users. Another governing body is the Internet Architecture Board (IAB).[5 Krol]Medicine has always been an integral part of my life. More than just a job, it is a calling for me. Accelerated nursing program is my first place priority because through this the help I give to men and women in uniform can be more qualitative and effective. My main objective is to learn everything I can from this program in order to become a real professional in what I do for people. My whole life working experiences are very relevant to the nursing profession. I served with the Army for eight years as a medical specialist. And as every person connected with the Army I know what a real discipline is. And this really helped me in my medical experience. I worked in different treatment facilities and hospitals during my duty, where my main duty was to give direct and indirect care to active duty soldiers, which was the first step to my nursing experience. I also provided treatment to the locals and soldi This IAB board governs the protocol standards whereby how computers and software applications talk to each other.[6 ibid] They also make the rules on how to keep track of each 32-bit address number used by each computer on the internet. One place I feel they fall down is in customer service. Professors at universities could do more in the way of customer service by assisting their clientele, the students with better care.Rather than sitting the 100 kids in a classroom looking at a video monitor it would be best if the professors would give better customer service to the students and give them more one-on-one time and not treat them like cattle. Many professors as they get up in tenure and stature in the “publish or perish world” of academia assume that they are too good for the students and withdraw from what I believe to be their duty and responsibility as professors.Too often they will use student aids to help the students who are trying to learn rather then giving the extra customer service directly. NSF pays for NSFNET and NASA pays for NASA Science Internet, individuals pay their Internet Service Provider and their telephone company for access to the internet.[8 ibid] As Ed Krol in said in The Whole Internet User’s Guide, ”everyone pays for their part.”Sometimes changes that take place in the workforce require a change in direction for your career. If the type of job you have traditionally performed is no longer being sought by employers, you will have to face the problem of changing your entire career focus. When this happens, many people feel like they have to start at the bottom and work their way up the ladder again from nothing. In many cases, it may be necessary for you to consider starting in some position that does pay less than your current one, but many job skills are transferable to other positions that pay equally well or higher than your present vocation. The trick in career changing is to research alternative fields that utilize similar skills to the ones you have already acquired.Take the time needed to research alternative career paths, and do a self assessment to see how many of the skills required for other careers y The internet, just like the light bulb and the airplane, started out as an idea. In August 1962, a researcher at MIT by the name of J.C.R. Licklider wrote a series of memos that outlined a “Galactic Network” of interconnected computers whereby everyone could quickly access information and programs from any site.[9 Leiner] Another researcher at MIT, Leonard Kleinrock, published a paper in July 1961 that would make communication on the internet more feasible.[10 ibid] Kleinrock’s paper on the packet switching theory convinced MIT researcher Lawrence Roberts to set up an experiment that involved connecting a TX-2 computer at MIT to a AN/FSQ-32 computer at System Development Corp. at Santa Monica, California.[11 ibid] This experiment resulted in the first computer network ever built.[12 ibid] In 1966 Roberts took his computer network expertise to the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and quickly put together a plan for an “ARPANET”. During the implementation of this plan, Leonard Kleinrock’s theory of packet switching was put into practice by the development of key components called Interface Message Processors (IMPs).[13 ibid] The impact of this development led to the assembly of the ARPANET. The first site chosen to implement the ARPANET is the Network Measurement Center at UCLA.[14 ibid] This was made possible by the installation of the first IMP and the first host computer at UCLA in September 1969.[15 ibid] Then later, the Stanford Research Institute, the University of California Santa Barbara, and the University of Utah were added to the beginning of the ARPANET.[16 Zakon] In October 1972, the ARPANET was successfully demonstrated at the International Computer Communication Conference (ICCC).[17 Leiner] It is this ARPANET that grew into what we know as the Internet.[18 Leiner] Two different developments came from the ARPANET: the Transmission Contro
