I personally don't like to change the image from its original condition other than cropping it and resizing it. I find that digital cameras of today are decent enough to give you true color etc. Normally you crop by clicking the crop icon with your left clicker, and dragging the cropping tool onto your picture. Once the cropping tool is on your picture (normally a dashed rectangle), pass your cursor on the dashed lines and arrows will appear. Use these arrows to position and adjust the cropping tool over your image by left-clicking and dragging. Once your satisfied, then and only then, do you click inside the rectangle, and everything on the outside disappears. You've cropped your first image.
