Many years ago, there was a colourful character who used to meet the excited punters on their way to the top race meeting of the day with the cry, “I’ve got a horse!” Needing the inside information he professed to supply, or perhaps just happy to give him a few shillings for the fun of it—after all, he might know the next winner—you often had to queue to purchase his tips, because Prince Monululu was never short of customers.

The more experienced punter and those who had already been bitten by his useless information too many times, would scurry past the self-proclaimed prince and purchase race cards and form sheets, and then make an informed decision regarding the horse with the best chance of winning.

They reasoned that if he really had good information he would not tell the world, and so lower its price and his potential winnings, but instead he would mortgage his house, sell his car, and even take a job to raise money in order bet on his sure thing!

Today, a multitude of his successors are sending me hundreds of e-mails each day, with masses of valuable information that they guarantee is going to make me massive profits every week for little outlay and absolutely no effort. What are Your Goals for the Next 30 Days?
Being a small business owner often means wearing a number of different hats. How many of you act as the CEO, the general manager, the accountant, the salesperson, the computer technician, the secretary, the receptionist, etc…? Sound familiar? Many entrepreneurs try to chase too many targets at once and end up overwhelmed rather than

Having worked with hundreds and hundreds of clients over the years, I’ve seen it all. Other than “no knowledge of marketing,” one thing

Sadly, and at great cost, I slowly learned that the vast majority of these products were as useless as Prince Monululu’s racing tips, which usually came in at the rear of the field. Furthermore, and once again just like the racing tips, I found that the so-called invaluable information was simply a re-packaging of facts that are not only freely available throughout the Internet, but frequently supplied together with ‘how-to-use’ data sheets.

What these modern glib tipsters do is wrap up re-cycled information, make it read like a secret that nobody else (except lucky me, of course) knows about, and present it together with so many ‘genuine’ testimonials, free gifts, guarantees, and proofs of earnings that I can only assume it must be true.
