    The Top Seven Marketing Mistakes
In my view, nearly all government statistics about reasons for business failures are nonsense.Undercapitalization, inexperience, or poor management are usually blamed for all business disasters.Of course, there can be one or several more causes that result in a business going "belly up."However, from what I've seen, marketing mi

    Cause-Related Marketing
Altruism. Corporate responsibility. Philanthropy. These are often used to describe cause-related marketing, an activity in which businesses join with charities or causes to market an image, product, or service for mutual benefit.Embracing a cause makes good business sense. It is not always easy working for someone else. It can be frustrating. So in this article I will offer some tips and advice on home based business work online. What is an acceptable amount of money do you need to invest? and what kind of return can you realistically except to achieve? But first here is my story. I think some of my readers can sympathize.

I graduated college in May 2001. And a day later, I started working full time. Everything started out great, but after a few months of being looked down upon and sexist remarks used by my boss against women in general, I became furious. He would say, "women should wear skirts and heels", or "the only thing these women know how to do is to have babies". I won't mention the group of women he was referring to, but I was sick to my stomach and I wanted to quit. I finally did. But in the meantime of working for my boss, I started to surf the internet to see what was out there. It was at that point in my life that I was introduced to "work from home" web sites. Before, I had no idea that people were working online and that it was even possible to make a living working online.

I've always wanted to work for myself even before the hardship of my first employment. I actually took entrepreneurship courses in college and abroad. Because, I always felt there is no one better to work for than myself. You can see my site at http://www.e-bookprofits.net for reference. Possessing Gold: A Lesson in Business Identity
With the creation of every business comes the possession of a golden egg. It is called business identity. Identity is defined as “the set of characteristics by which a thing is recognized or known” (The American Heritage College Dictionary). In other words, elements that help distinguish your business in the marketplace. Your business

    I Can't Afford a Virtual Assistant!
Starting out in business is expensive and so business owners come to the conclusion that they can take care of everything themselves. Wrong! The job of a business owner is to market their business and increase profits.Taking care of administrative tasks takes you away from your main focus. There are so many tasks to take care of on a daily

Is Your Vision for Your Business Built on Bedrock or Sand?
Have you ever wondered why some business owners seem so calm and steady, while others are in a constant state of worry and panic?Surprisingly, the difference between these two scenarios has nothing to do with the operation of the business-it is the vision of the owner.Your vision for your business provides the foundation for its succes

Three Most Important Steps for Effective Marketing
So many people come to me asking why their products and services are not doing well. I wonder if they ever had any experiences with effective marketing. I always ask them just three simple questions and they get their answer within those simple questions.I tell them no big thing, just simple things which I guess each and everyone involved in

I had no idea what an affiliate was. I just knew that if I market the site, I would be paid $100 for each signup. I eventually learn what I had to do to advertise and I made $300. $101 profit. At least I made my money back.

After being introduced to so many business opportunities, I eventually got carried away and strayed away from my first business (bad move). I think I signed up for thirty (30) other businesses since then, and I have to say, I never made any money from them. I have lost thousands of dollars signing up and advertising. My husband is still with me... thank goodness.

Now is 2007, I have learned to be more careful and after years of trial and error, I finally got it right. I can now say with confidence that I am making money online.

So here are my tips and advice for you:

1.Once you find a business you love, stick with it. Don't get carried away like I have. It will cost you more than you think.

2.It doesn't matter how much you invest into a business, you should expect to make double your investment. Or, at least make your investment back.

3.Never spend more than you can afford.
