Public Relations for Space Flight Ops
Public relations for space flight operations at NASA are extremely important and perhaps you have noticed during the hurricane season how careful NASA is before they launch the space shuttles. NASA knows that they cannot have another disaster or lose another crew of the space shuttle and so they are very careful. They would rather be careful than half a public relations disaster and the loss of billions of dollars of equipment and the loss of life, which can never be replaced. Most of the astronauts who are picked to fly on the space shuttle are what you might call human plus. In other words they are perfect in nearly every way. They are smart and intelligent, articulate and athletic and our civilization and society stand a lot to gain from them, therefore they are humans that we simply cannot lose or afford to take unnecessary risks with.Public relations for space flight operations at NASA are therefore handled very carefully and they talk a lot

Your Online Newsroom: How to Give Reporters a Tip
It’s hard to imagine a reporter working today who doesn’t regularly visit “official” company websites. And it’s hard to imagine just how much those websites have improved reporters’ lives.Instead of calling a company for more information and waiting days for their press pack to arrive, reporters can now get the information they need in minutes with a few clicks of a mouse. The above two paragraphs are obvious – so obvious, you might think, that they’re barely worth mentioning. But a quick glance at corporate and nonprofit websites reveals that many companies and nonprofits are missing a golden opportunity to sell their stories. Most websites are good about posting their latest news and press releases. Reporters come to the site, see what’s already been announced, get what they need and leave. But a few very clever websites are also using those visits to plant seeds for future stories with reporters. They “soft pitch” them on general theme

Some consultant have different assignments at the same time, but a new assignment always brings a introduction period with it.Not only consultants, but everyone involved in a job switch will be faced with such a transition. How should you handle such a period? As any change, reserve time for it. Reserve time for “nothing special.” These days where you are changing to another (work) environment can not always be planned. You do not know what to expect, you should merely adapt to the situation. A Great Way To Plan A Task!
I am not sure that many sales people, managers, and small business owners really have a systematic way of planning their tasks and programs. I must be far behind but I discovered for myself recently a very good way of doing that. I have known about story boarding for a long time, however, I was not aware of the business technique of mind mapping.Recently I have discovered this remarkable way of putting on paper or on your computer screen the ability to list all the ideas one might have on a particular task or program and then to plan out all the steps in a logical way. Doing so makes it a visual way of conceiving the project. Mind mapping does that for me.Some people like task lists that can be date and time stamped or just making a list of tasks and the dates by which they need to be completed. Some like project management capabilities, but the mind map is the ability to brainstorm all the ideas and tasks that are needed for a project and then to
