If you were to do such a thing and charge money for membership, then you would need a high risk merchant account. What is a merchant account?A merchant account is an essential account that you need in order to accept credit cards online. If you plan on running a website that allows you to collect fees from those who visit your site, then you can not start doing so without the merchant account. So how do you get one? First of all, you must choose a merchant account provider (MAP). These providers may present you with attractive low rates but be warned because there are a lot of shady providers out there. They get up at the crack of dawn, drag their weary bodies out of the house and head off for another exciting day at work. Ten or twelve hours later they head home totally exhausted with all their energy sapped from their body. They might make the effort to find out how the rest of their family's day has been, even read their children a bed-time story. Finally after having something to eat, taking a hot shower or bath, they then veg out on the couch. They immerse themselves in the newspaper (again) or watch the news or some mindless television show (if they don't fall asleep beforehand). And this is a common scenario for many people who work for someone e Let’s think about this for a moment however. When was the last time you threw a tantrum when your work team didn’t meet a deadline or lost a bid for a project? Or better yet, how many people do you know who show up to work with their company logo painted across their face, scalp, back, or hairy-round-beer-infused stomach? Why is it that the kind of team spirit that is displayed for our favorite football or basketball team is rarely displayed with a work team? And what does this have to do with anything? Chill. Isn’t there always a message? Won’t there be one today? Last week while attending the NY International Gift Fair, I had a conversation with Jack. Jack let me know that he is the NATIONAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER for a large publishing company. He was “equally impressed” when I told him I was The Big Kid from Never Grow Up. I was browsing around their trade show booth and I made a comment about the number of team members with Jack at the show. Bad comment. It was expected to be a lot higher in Chicago yesterday.Too much training is boring. Too much training barely raises itself above level one in Kirkpatrick's four levels of training evaluation. That is, the reaction of students; what they thought and felt about the training. Too much training ignores the learning needs of the participants. Too much corporate training spending is wasted.Adults have some simple requirements as learners. They have an expectation of being treated as an adult with respect shown for their experience and knowledge of the training topic. Even if they cannot describe what they know in the theoretical terms they are about to learn they still want their experience acknowledged. They have a need to share that experience with others.Above all, adults have a desire to be active participants in the learning process. They, of course, abhor b Let’s think about this for a moment however. When was the last time you threw a tantrum when your work team didn’t meet a deadline or lost a bid for a project?
