In today's fast-paced business world salespeople must also keep up the service to their customers. Often salespeople will make their rounds and will use their cell phone while driving to make sales calls. In some states it is against the law now to drive while talking on a cell phone. In other states you are allowed hands-free units. In our previous installment on medical billing and the electronic transmission of claims, we briefly touched on multiple batches and why they're required when billing. In this installment, we're going to cover the batch trailer record and the individual fields it contains.The batch trailer record is the YA0 record and comes at the very end of the batch for a provider, immediately after the last XA0 record for the last patient in that batch. If this record falls out of sequence, the whole claim file for that batch will be rejected. In some cases, the carrier will reject all batches in the file.YA0 field 1, positions 1 - 3, is the record type. Water Conservation Strategies and Considerations for Car Wash Fundraising
If you are going to run a car wash fundraiser for a nonprofit group it makes sense not to waste the water especially since the water is probably being donated by a business, which has allowed you to use their parking lot.Most garden hose outlets in commercial centers run at about 10 gallons per minute and if you simply let the water run the entire time that you're having your car wash fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. then you will use 10 GPM X 240 minutes = 2,400 gallons of water and that is only if you use one garden hose.If you're using two garden hoses to watch the cars you can expect to use almost 5000 gallons of fresh water and there really is no sense in wasting that kind of water to have a fundraiser to teach the kids the value of money by making them e

Sometimes the right word is no word. On occasion we need to remain silent and let the other person talk. We have heard in sales that the first one to talk after the close loses. After the persuasion process and the final decision is ready to be made, make your proposal and shut up. The silence is nerve-wracking, but it’s a critical time to let the prospect make the decision without you rambling on and on about the product or service.How often have you noticed a sales rep overselling a product? You were ready to make the purchase by handing over your credit card. The sales rep felt you needed to know everything about the product and he started to fill you in. This caused doubt to creep into your mind and you ended up leaving, telling the salesman you would think about
