Entrepreneurs: Knowing Yourself Before Building Your Small Business
In an uncertain global economy, when employers and employees feel no loyalty to one another and rarely look out for one another’s interests, entrepreneurship can seem like a dream come true. However, not all personalities are ideal for the entrepreneurial lifestyle. Though there may be more than one path to entrepreneurial success, these five traits are helpful in getting started.Entrepreneurial Skill #1: Expertis

How To Write Ads That Will Convert A Prospect Into A Customer
You've been quite some time at the Internet, marketing your products, or other's products and running multiple Google adwords campaigns. Although your market is a competitive market, your sales letter is amazing, your ads are targeted, your landing pages are specific and well designed, you offer free ebooks to tempt your potential customers, but still you cannot convert your visitors into customers. What is happening? If this
    1) A mobile service business can be run from home: Many of us want a business we can run from home. However, we are not all internet guru's. Some of us LIKE physical work, "getting our hands dirty" so to speak. What we don't like is having a demanding boss who is putting the money in his pocket while treating us like second class citizens. We want our own business that we can run from home while providing a much needed service to others! Many of the mobile businesses can easily be set up and operated from home base.

    2) Cost: It's amazing how much it costs to open a stationary business. Business zoned property costs are through the roof and remember with a stationary business it's location! location! location! You will pay greatly for that right location. With a stationary business the building, property and equipment costs vary, regardless it generally demands that you have a high "net worth" to be able to finance these extreme costs, it is nearly impossible for the "average Joe". You have to be prepared for many years of work before the profit will outweigh the debt.

Mobile businesses have a fairly low start up cost and any ongoing overhead is simply to store your equipment and product. In many cases mobile businesses can be operated from home so your overhead is nil, nada zip. Your profit can usually cover the expenses and actually pay you in a relativity short amount of time.

    3) The market: Today’s consumers want the convenience of "bring it to me" services whenever possible. We have no time to make extra trips and wait in line for service. We want and demand convenience in our lives. That applies not only to the general public but also for other business owners.

Fleet owners/managers need their services provided to them at their convenience and location, they do not want to pay their employees to sit in line when they could (and should) be serving their customers! That down time puts a burden on the company’s bottom line.

It is Human Nature to Propagate
Many believe that it is human nature to make up stories, embellish and tell tall tales. Indeed it appears that these folks who say this are right, it must be human nature, because it is getting harder and harder to get a straight answer out of people? Maybe it is all this political correctness that people have just given up on the truth, instead a perceived or contrived truth will do just fine?If you think about this f

    How To Attract More Leads
One northern Manitoba February, Bert, a new AA convert, was driving me from Flin Flon to The Pas to work with another agent. Bert's enthusiasm for AA bubbled throughout the trip, and I learned many things that helped me improve my life. One was that "You've got to give it away to keep it". To Bert, at the time, this meant spread the AA philosophy. To me, it meant the sharing of all ideas. It also applies t

The Question Isn't - Are There Alternatives To Advertising-Marketing
It's "Why do people fail to even consider them?"One of the major problems with advertising is that there are far too many Chiefs and no Indians at all! And all have a different opinion as to why advertising is under severe questioning. Here are just two examples of ChiefSpeak:"TV under pressure", says Accountant turned Adman, Sir Martin Sorrell. Employee benefits are a huge consideration for today’s Human Resource managers. Company’s are actively seeking “onsite services” to provide to their employees to show that they do care. You will find that many large companies now list services such as mobile oil change, mobile car wash, mobile dry cleaning, even mobile gyms and massages are showing up in their benefits packages!

    4) Operating hours: Fixed locations have "regular operating hours, usually 12-14 hours a day M-F, maybe shorter hours on weekends and yes that means Sunday's also. During those open hours you HAVE to have a minimum number of employees on the premises. Even if business is slow, they still have to be there. On top of that much of the public and fleet vehicles can not get in during those "fixed" hours to get service.

With a mobile business there is flexibility in scheduling appointments. If you need a day off for something important you can schedule around that day and it's no problem, there is no closed sign on your door - no one will even know. And for the customers who need service at "non standard operating hours" you can do that. You can schedule fleets EARLY morning or evening hours whatever the need may be. You only need one - maybe two persons to drive your service vehicle and provide service so your not paying employees to stand around during slow periods. Your service vehicle is only out when you have appointments scheduled.
