At least if you’re implementing the steps to achieve those short and long term goals, you won’t have to worry about crying the “If” song! (If I coulda’, woulda’, shoulda’ done…)There is a difference in “timing” (where strategy is used for operational purposes) and taking time for granted (not properly utilizing your time).

My acronym for TIME is “Taking Initiative Minus Excuses.” We tend to make excuses for not doing those important things that should automatically be a priority. It is imperative to stop putting off doing the list of things that we want or need to do. We can sometimes be our worst enemy, if we don’t stop procrastinating. Our dreams, goals and aspirations will not happen without action. But, if you’re itching to start a small business now, then stop waiting! The clock is still ticking and when those minutes, hours, days and years are gone…that’s it! It’s over!

As you work on your business endeavors day by day, you’re making some fundamental accomplishments. Keep a journal of the things that you’re doing, planning to do and what you’ve already done. Make positive and productive changes, no matter how small it is. Avoid wasting precious time, because “time” certainly is not waiting for anyone to appreciate it or capitalize on it.
