    Message-On-Hold - A Powerful Marketing Tool
What is Messaging On Hold? Message On Hold is a customized recording that callers will hear when they are placed on hold. Now one might think that that is just another fancy way to keep your callers entertained. But truth is, Messaging On Hold is far more than just helping callers kill time while they are on hold. Messaging On Hold is actually a highly effective marketing tool. It is basically an infomercial about your business. Yes, it will keep your callers entertained avoiding that they hang up. But most importantly, it will help to sell the p

But what she doesn't realize is she's quietly sabotaging her success...

Because her daily actions are in direct conflict with her dreams. She is at odds with her goals. She's running around in a vicious cycle not able to rise above it. In short: she knows she's bleeding but won't change course.

    What Is A Business Plan?
Individuals running small self-owned units with low revenues and lower profits are prone to ask –What is a business plan? They did not grow, simply because they didn’t have one, and never bothered to find out before. Evidently they don’t care much where their business is headed.Others wish to expand their business but have no idea how to go about it. Ask them what is their business plan and they shake their head, skeptical. Simply wishing will not lead to success. You need to chart down your goals and figure out the way to reach them. This
    Three questions if I may:

Do you crave success only to cave in to self-destructive habits?

Do you dream BIG, but fall into a pattern of acting small?

Do you subscribe to the false belief that being busy with self-development and menial tasks will actually make you wealthy?

My good friend Juli is an independent beauty consultant for one of the country's largest cosmetic companies. She and her husband are raising four adorable girls. During one stretch in her business she earned enough bonus commissions to drive a red Pontiac Grand Prix from her company's Car Reward's Program.

I'll never forget the day she picked it up. It was her special moment. She had never reached this plateau before. Having a new car in the driveway made a statement about her, her success and where she was heading.

The dealership responded with balloons and provided refreshments. The atmosphere became alive with upbeat music. Her area representatives arrived to cheer her on. And afterwards we went back to the house to celebrate with bubbly.

Exactly one year later, she returned the Grand Prix to the dealership. But it wasn't to trade up. Her commissions had slipped and she was no longer eligible for any car.

    What happened?

Juli is no slouch. She's a success student. She stays in tune with her company's product line, literature and self-development books. She attends her company's local and regional meetings. And she's even assembled a dream board mounted in the kitchen with cutouts of the car, house and income of her dreams.

Because her daily actions are in direct conflict with her dreams. She is at odds with her goals. She's running around in a vicious cycle not able to rise above it. In short: she knows she's bleeding but won't change course.

Managers: Are You Cool With PR?
Managers can be cool, right? Right! Especially business, non-profit, public entity and association managers who combine a sound public relations strategy with effective communications tactics leading directly to the bottom line --perception altered, behavior modified, employer/client /member objective achieved. If you don’t as yet fall into that category, you may be interested in embracing the notion of doing something positive about the behaviors of the very outside audiences that MOST affect your operation. The result m

Making Money Consistently Using Construction Estimating Software
That is an appealing self-assured declaration. Moreover, truthfully, it is perhaps a bit of an overstatement, but not by much. I will clarify this shortly.First, a question. Are you steadily making money on your construction jobs? Are you using cash from the job in progress to pay the bills on the last construction job that was completed? If you do, this is on the whole, one of the most imperative concepts you ever will read.Construction estimating software is in fact the preparatory features for making money on all your const

    Job Hunting
We are known for what we do rather than what we are. This is an unfortunate reality but one has to accept it. Getting a job is not that simple, but before that the most important thing is knowing what sort of job you are capable of doing and want to do.First up, consider and revise the goals you have set for yourself. If you don't have any then make some. Be sure about what you want to achieve and only then can you pursue it. When considering what type of job you want, think about your weaknesses and strengths and then look for a job that

How to Start a Candle Business
Every year, America spends $2 billion lighting up their lives with the romance, and soft glow of candles that come in all shapes, sizes and scents. They're one of the most popular home decorating accents, even for people who are not dedicated to doing their home in themes and matching colors/accessories.Now is an excellent time to start a candle business, either as a supplement to your regular income, or as a career that can be carried on in the evenings after your partner is home to look after the children. One of the basic recommen

    Allow me to explain...

Because she and her husband were unhappy with public schools, she began home schooling her girls. Which later led to a teaching position at her church where her girls are enrolled. Which unfortunately led to a huge pay cut because of reduced enrollment. But she chose to stay on.

With all the teaching, grading and tutoring—her lifestyle has suffered. She seldom has time to invest in her business. And she is only making $400 a month gross from the job. That's only enough to pay for the gasoline to her dream car.

Because of her commitment to the school, she feels guilty if she vacates her position. In the meantime, her lack of income is taking its toll on her. She wears hand-me-down clothes, rarely eats out and her idea of quality family time consists of watching checked-out DVDs from the public library.

    What's wrong with this picture?

Reading books, creating your dream board and attending meetings will not fulfill your dreams if your actions are at cross-purpose with your desires.

Juli's actions are earning her a poverty income. Yes her sacrifice is noble, but nobility doesn't pay much. And her decision to continue teaching negates everything she posted on her dream board. Her actions are at odds with her dreams.

In a nutshell, here's an illustration of how we often sabotage our success:
