As always, the grand creator puts things in my path to point in which direction my column should take each month. It is laid before me in such a manner that I become passionate about writing the experience in detail. Because many publications allow only 700 words, I have to chop my column to fit the criteria, yet in my books I let it flow naturally.I recently made a trip to a well-known drug store to purchase a few items and browse through their new store. I permitted my two teenage sons to accompany me so they could peruse the new establishment as well. Predictably, they did not follow me to the check out but dragged behind me causing delay. Advertising Which Visualizes Quality
If you run a company that sells a product or manufactures a specialty product then your advertising needs to signify to the customer that your products are of the highest quality and the best value. But how can a company create advertising or a marketing program, which allows the consumer or the end customer to visualize the quality without actually touching the product? That my friends is one of the keys to advertising products.The trick is to get the customer to visualize the quality of the product and its durability and even perhaps its longevity, without ever seen it, touching it or owning one. In May of 2006 the Office of Management and Budget issued a new revised supplement for OMB A-133. This revised supplement had several changes made to grant program narratives on the program requirements, which resulted in other parts of the compliance supplement also being changed. The changes range from minor verbiage changes to specific changes in program requirements as a result of Hurricane Katrina. A brief over view of the changes can be seen in Appendix V of the 2006 Compliance Supplement.The major Program requirement changes were in the following parts of the supplement:Part 3 - Compliance Requirements Part 4 - Agency Program Requirements Part 5 – Clusters of ProgramsPART 3 The significant change made in Part 3 was in Section D, which was the creation of a disaster waiver for Davis Bacon requirements as a result of Hurricane Katrina.
