    3. Determine where you will meet them. If you don't already know this person, plan how you will get to know him or her. Does he belong to any organizations that you could join? Does she volunteer for a charity where you could get to know her?

      Trying to meet massive amounts of people can actually be detrimental to you. It spreads yourself too thin, and can result in shallow relationships. You need to spend valuable time developing a relationship, and that's simply impossible to do with huge numbers of people. Target your networking efforts, build deep relationships with those people, and achieve great things.
