No matter what gracious spiritual and earthly blessings the promise contains, true prayer to the Father is the only way to cash in this check. There is nothing more needed. Therefore, if a person has not yet received the indwelling Christ in answer to their prayer, then they have failed to obtain the luxurious objective of all praying. We do not find it difficult to make our requests known to God when we are fully aware of His presence.
