The very heart of the Gospel is contained in the Name of Jesus. We as God’s called servants could never heed to this extremely evil command. How could we be faithful to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus if we obeyed such a wicked command? In order to comply with such an unjust demand, never to speak at all nor teach again in the Name of Jesus, we would have to compromise the very truth of Christ. We would have to stop drawing attention to the fundamental theme of the Gospel’s meaning, which is Jesus Christ.
God’s everlasting kingdom will never be destroyed by the combined forces of the ungodly. Almighty God is never in jeopardy. He has no fear of mortal people.
