Party or Paper? How to Find Time to Edit Your Work in College
If you're like most college students, you start your papers the night before they're due, and you don't give yourself enough time to do a flawless, impressive job on your work. Don't be ashamed--everyone does it.As college students, our intellectual side knows that we have to be professional and take the time to do quality work for our classes, because our coursework helps to determine our future careers and paychecks. However, our social side knows that if we stay in to proofread and edit the paper that's due on Monday, we'll be missing out on parties, bar nights, and other college experiences that frankly, we just can't skip. Editing by Amanda understands your dual needs.Editing by Amanda is a Boston-based writing resource, helping students around the country to edit papers, cover letters, and other assignments so that they can fulfill both their need for procrastination and their need for success. Your Happiness, Whose Responsibility?
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve had dialogues with women who assumed responsibility for other people’s bad behaviour. One was the friend who introduced my daughter to the driving instructor who became increasingly unpleasant. She felt bad about it, although he did not. His behaviour was his responsibility. Period.Another is a woman whose husband has serious mental health problems. Without constant, strong medication he can become very violent. This man’s repertoire includes a number of abusive behaviours, but the gravity of his mental health problems mean that he does not fit the profile of the typical abusive man.His wife believes she is responsible for protecting society from him. The task she has set herself is well nigh impossible. The toll it takes on her is immense. Her argument is: if she doesn’t do it, who will?Culturally speaking, most women have been brought up with a ‘buck stops here’ mentali
This article is inspired by a subject that has been weighing heavily on my heart. It is a serious problem among many young people today who think they know it all but in reality, don't have a clue to what the true purpose and God's intentions for their lives are all about. The lack of godly wisdom is a growing problem and from it generational curses are being birthed. If the young adults don't obtain wisdom, how will they pass it on to their children? There is a saying that goes like this, "You can't give away what you don't have." In this case, I'm addressing wisdom.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, my husband and I were visited by his 23 year old son, his current girlfriend and another friend of theirs. All of them are in their 20's, and think they know it all. Not one of them has any incling of what true wisdom is or cares for that matter. They are content right now to be "in" the world with the latest gadgets and living lives that flirt with disaster. The really sad part about all this is that between 2 of them, there are 3 children under the age of 2 that are involved. As I listened to the tangled webs they were weaving among themselves, not once did they give consideration to what this might do to their children later on. I could only witness as far as telling the young woman that until her life includes the Truth of God's Word, nothing was going to come out smelling like a rose. But, this was not what she wanted to hear. Her response was to get up, walk away and not discuss it any further. My spirit was grieved and felt like it was deflating the longer I was with them. Electricity and Magnetism
One of the great triumphs of 19th century science was the development of electromagnetic theory. Devlepment of the theory began with Benjamin Franklin's experiments with static electricity in 1748 and culminated with Maxwell's four equations, derived in 1864, which explain all electromagnetic phenomena including electromagnetic waves. For hundreds of years, electricity and magnetism were quite mysterious forces, thought to be separate. Beginning in the 18th century, several scientists experimented with electricity including Franklin, Coulomb, Volta, Ampere, Faraday, and Maxwell. In 1748, Franklin discovered that there were two types of electric charge, positive and negative, and that like charges repel and opposite charges attract. Coulomb made this law mathematically precise. In 1800, Volta discovered the principle behind the battery and was able to use them to produce electric currents. In 1819, Ampere discovered the first connectio

The Three Steps of Search Engine Optimization
Showing up at the top of the major search engines can be easy or difficult depending on the competitiveness of the search term. This said, there are some basic steps that you can follow to make sure your web site shows up well for semi-competitive search terms.Terms like “credit cards” or “weight loss” are examples of super-competitive terms that can take even an experienced search marketer over a year and hundreds of hours to rank well for. At the other end of the spectrum, ranking well for your company name or a geographically-clarified term like “Hillsborough Law Firm” can take nothing more than putting your target keyword on your web page a few times and building a couple incoming links to your web site.Regardless of the competitiveness of the terms you are targeting, there are three basic steps to follow first. These steps are: Determine What Keywords You’re Targeting Put those keywords on your h

To them it was all nonesense. The Bible tells us that those who are not called of God will not understand, will not take heed to hear the truth. This life is the only one they know and is all that matters. I did have to point out to this young woman that the reason none of this would end up any good was because everyone of them is thinking only of themselves. It's impossible to gain victory when your goal is only on your self. It's the "What about me?" generation. I also concluded that they don't even consider the long term consequences of their selfish actions. This is lack of godly wisdom. My prayers are going up for all the young people who depend upon themselves for their happiness and success. Right now they haven't got a clue, nor do they care. May God have mercy on the children of these children!

Being a parent is a gift from God that should be cherished. It is our duty to return our children to Him in the same condition He gave them to us. But unless a parent understands this, a child will not learn to go in the proper direction and will be eternaly lost. God inspired Solomon to write about godly wisdom and instruct his own son in the way he must go. God's Word unfortuneatly is regarded as mere "religion" and not recognized as a guide book to life.

Solomon wrote the book of Proverbs, which is a book of wisdom for correction and direction. He writes about the usefulness of wisdom.

"To know wisdom and instruction, to discern the sayings of understanding, to receive instruction in wise behavior, righteousness, justice and equity; to give prudence to the naive, to the youth knowledge and discretion, a wise man will hear and
