Forced Sterilization in America and Canada

    Writing Acknowledgements for E-Books
It is important to have an acknowledgements section in your E-Books. Having authored some 1600 articles, 3000 pages of Operations Manuals, 4 E-Books and Co-Authored a Book on Franchising, I can tell you that a properly written acknowledgement, introduction and dedication is smart diplomacy. Many authors rely on teams of researchers, writers, consultants and editors. Myself, generally I use these opportunities to thank sources used in compiling the information. It pays dividends to future projects and streamlines the process in future work as per my theories. Here is some food for t
Attitude: Everyone Has One - What Does Yours Say?

Attitude is one of those words that is hard to define but you know it when you see it. ATTITUDE is the most critical component to behavior change and goal achievement; yet it is the most overlooked. Think about it: how many times have you established a goal that you failed to achieve? Yet, it was a SMART goal (met all the criteria of an effective goal), you were very committed at the time you made that goal, and you even succeeded and had some improved results – for a time. But, for some reason, you found yourself going back to exactly the same behaviors you had set out to change. The reason for this failure? You did not consider the most important aspect of any effort to change behavior, i.e., your attitude.

Let's look at an example where you accomplished a goal but the improved results were only temporary. Most people can relate to this scenario:

You set a goal to lose 20 pounds over the next six months. It met all the SMART criteria: it was Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results driven, Time sensitive. You even sat down and talked to your family about it to elicit their support. You attained knowledge and understanding about what you needed to do to accomplish that objective. Eureka! At the end of six months you were 20 pounds lighter... At the end of 12 months you were 25 pounds heavier. What happened? You changed your behavior and achieved your goal but the results were only temporary because you did not change your attitude about food.

Fully understanding and properly developing our own attitudes and that of others is the most effective way to have lasting SUCCESS. In fact, the single most important decision you make each day is “what will be my attitude today?” because attitude is a choice!

How Do You Make Money Online With Affiliate Programs?
Well we've all been there! Or at least I know I have. I joined my first affiliate program about 18 months ago and thought "this is it!" - I confidently expected the cash to start rolling in within hours. Why the confidence. Well I'd just signed up with one of the top 10 affiliate programs (according to its promotional page!) and had also signed up with Google Adwords - so all I'd done was put up an ad and a few keywords. How easy was that? And now I just needed to wait for the avalanche of customers clicking on my ad and sending my affiliate sales counter into meltdown.Ummmm

Dating After 40: How to Trump Being Dumped

Me: What was the reason for the breakup? He: It was stupid. Because I am fun and engaging with others, my sweetie felt I had the “potential” to cheat. I have never cheated, nor would I. Change Your Life By Not Changing A Thing (Part 1 of 5)
With the massive proliferation of “self-help” books and “change your life” programs, the natural question is: “Why isn’t everyone perfect by now?” Are you smoking? There are HUNDREDS of Stop-Smoking-Now programs. Are you chronically behind in your work? There are THOUSANDS of Time-Management programs – some even come with super cool looking “time management systems” – what used to be called calendars. So the problem doesn’t seem to be lack of access. Maybe the problem is with the person. For most people, instant change isn’t possible. I know there are experts who disagree wit

Your attitude has a direct relationship with your behavior which has a direct relationship with your performance:

A study conducted by SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) surveyed employers regarding what they felt were the most important hallmarks of success: * 15% rated knowledge as most important (what to do)
    * 15% rated skills as most important (how to do)
    * 85% rated attitude as most important (want to do)

Given that attitude is so important, how can you maintain a positive attitude even in a negative environment?

Maintaining a Positive Attitude in the Workplace

If you want to become or remain a positive force in the workplace, you need a strategy. Follow the suggestions below to get yourself on your way:

    • Ask three people you consider to be positive how they maintain their attitudes.
    • Survey your use of language, and change it when necessary. This includes inner talk and outer talk. Change your negative words and thoughts into positive ones.
    • Surround yourself with as many positive people as possible.
    • Appreciate yourself.
    • Accept yourself for who you are, not who you ought to be.
    • Forget the past. Don't worry about something that has already happened. If there is a lesson to be learned, learn it and move on.
    • Accept that you are going to make mistakes.
    • Create positive affirmations/confessions and repeat them out loud a minimum of six times a day.
    • Go on a negative fast. Refrain from making negative comments about people or situations for the next three days, find something positive in every situation. (At the end of the three days, extend the “negativity fast
