I know someone who is of another race and wished she were of a Caucasian race. She was raised to believe that the lighter your skin tone is, the farther you got in life, the more you are liked-basically you were looked upon in favor, in comparison to having a darker skin tone. The girls with lighter complexion, got way more attention over the girls with the darker skin tone, and I'm talking about what still goes on in the 21st century! Crazy but true!
