For the most part, the soil of our generation is depleted of minerals and trace elements. You can get around the depleted soil factor by eating organically grown fruit and vegetables. Not only will these have more antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals than the conventionally grown variety, you will also be avoiding the pesticides and herbicides.

Those of us who have fought in the nutritional trenches have heard more than one incident from the sewer man who can tell you of all the undigested vitamin pills recovered from the sewer, many of which still had the brand name clearly visible on the pill. Guess what? Those undigested vitamins did not do the buyer any good and were a complete waste of their hard earned money.
