    Vitamin C is believed to be a gout cure because clinical studies have shown that by taking vitamin C supplements, you can increase urinary excretion of uric acid and reduced blood levels of uric acid.

    How Much Vitamin C Do You Need To Take As a Gout Cure?

    As a gout cure, it is best to take vitamin C supplements in the pre-digestive form of ester-C, as this is non-acidic.

    Clinical trials have shown that doses of between 500 mg and 8 g of vitamin C per day can be used as a gout cure.
