The Truth - Computerized Commodity Trading Systems, Part 4 - Include The Basic Human Fears!
To get a computerized system edge, you need to figure out the basic human trading weaknesses and include them in your software. Anyone can buy a trading system these days, but it will have little value unless it is unique and different from the crowd. Here's some easy-to-understand ideas I use that add in the human fears! To develop a catastrophic exit plan, we need to look back over the history of trading for the e-mini futures contract market. A computer can easily do this. Figure out after the initial sell-off, over the last X period of time, what price swing has the futures very rarely reached? Is this ten points, fifteen points or what? You need to come up with a super panic number that will get touched maybe once every three months or so for day trading. So what’s this equate to in dollars? If you are trading small e-mini futures lots like you should be, it will be

From the book “When Fear Seems Overwhelming,” by Tim Jackson, a licensed counselor in Michigan, comes some helpful and comforting information on fear…

He first begins to tell us that fear is sometimes necessary and needed to prevent us from danger—such as that of snakes, when someone is going to attack you or when you sense or know of danger that can

    Internet Home Business Ebooks
Internet home business ebooks can be a valuable resource that can easily transform your enterprise from mediocrity to great success beyond your wildest dreams. But you will have to look for ebooks or special reports written by actual Internet home business entrepreneurs. The problem is that most of the available information in the form of ebooks and special reports is just theory. And when an Internet expert chooses to write, they will usually hold back their most valuable inner secrets and tips. Still, you should always make an effort to get your hands on stuff that has been written by somebody who has actually made some money from their Internet home business. And even if they decide to hold back their tastiest morsels of tips and information, you will at least be sure to have started on the right track and not on some wild goose chase prompted by some impressive sounding the
I now would like to address fear, because it is the Number One force behind all anxieties, phobias and most mental disorders. Fear plagues most of us but to overcome it and put it in it’s place—which for me, would be at the very bottom of a very deep pit—one must first know and acknowledge what fear is and why it’s so debilitating.

Let’s define fear and then see how we feel about it. From the online Encarta Dictionary comes this: “1. feeling of anxiety: an unpleasant feeling of apprehension or distress caused by the presence of anticipation of danger, 2. frightening thought, 3. Reverence, 4. worry. Notice here, all descriptions are negative. Fear is nothing but negative and harmful; no good for anyone.

I moved on and then found this site: www.angelfire.com. Check out these interesting famous quotes concerning fear:

Francis Bacon once described fear as: “It is a miserable state of mind to have few things to desire, and many things to fear.”

“Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.”

I love this one from Cardinal Newman: “Fear not that thy life shall come to an end but rather fear that it shall never have a beginning.” (Loved this one—stayed here for awhile)

Another good quote comes from Thomas Jefferson, “The man who fears no truths has nothing to fear from lies.”

This one needs to be repeated, this from Confucius, “To know what is right and not do it is the worst cowardice.”

All of these quotes are great but still I longed for something from a higher source. No better or higher source to be found on earth is the Bible and I found some inspiration from www.gospelcom.net. Check out this site, Toni! ’06

    Divorce and Hidden Assets
Not surprisingly, assets are often hidden in a divorce situation. Why - well simply greed, or the feelings of betrayal or anger at the need to divide assets in the divorce, or the fear of not having enough after the divorce all motivate the behavior of hiding assets. In divorce, the parties assets are divided. Under the divorce laws of some states they are divided equally and under the divorce laws of other states, they are divided "equitably" or fairly. Equitably often means equally to overworked divorce judges. There is no way to know in advance if your spouse has or will hide assets in a divorce. You know your spouse better than your divorce attorney will and you will need to alert your attorney to the possibility of your psouse hiding assets. Before you get to that point, however, there are some easy steps to take to prevent your spouse from being able to hide as

From the book “When Fear Seems Overwhelming,” by Tim Jackson, a licensed counselor in Michigan, comes some helpful and comforting information on fear…

He first begins to tell us that fear is sometimes necessary and needed to prevent us from danger—such as that of snakes, when someone is going to attack you or when you sense or know of danger that can be avoided. This is when danger is needed.

He goes on to say that danger can ‘motivate us to excel.’ We all have, at time, projects or things to do that need to be done at a certain time. Fear to get a report or project done, can motivate and propel us to ‘high motivation.’

In another light, fear can also entertain us—such as in movies, TV or DVD’s. How many of us over the years sit and watch a horror movie and love it because we’re not the ones facing the fear?

However, he continues, fear can be our enemy when we “disable ourselves with fears from within that can turn obsessive.” Also insecurity when it comes to relationships. He sums up this insecurity by writing, “We desire to love others, but the frightening reality is that there is no guarantee that anyone will love us in return.

He finishes by saying that inadequacy and self-doubt can also bring on fear and many ‘what-if’ types of thinking.

He ends his thoughts on fears by listing ways in which we all can overcome fear: “Face Your Fears, Learn From Your Fears, Relinquish Unhealthy Fears, Cultivate Healthy Fears, and Move In Spite Of Your Fears.”

At the very end of his booklet on fears he quotes from the Bible a wonderful passage, “Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of His servant? Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.”(Isaiah 50:10.)

Another newspaper report again in the Philadelphia Inquirer, dated Sunday May 30, 2004 titled, “Once Shy, Now Sick” by Jeff Gammage, gives insightful information as to why so many people in the last decade are suddenly cl
