Entry Level Jobs: How To Get Your Foot In The Door
Getting an entry level job can be a difficult task even when you're a recent graduate armed with a diploma or degree and figure that you're ready to take on the corporate world. If only someone in the corporate world would give you a chance to get your foot in the door though…Gettin
"There is no reality, only perception." -- Dr. Phil.
Entrepreneurs often wonder how to get known as an expert in their field, especially if they are just starting out. The secret lies in getting others to perceive you as an expert. Don't get me wrong -- I'm not implying that you lie, deceive or make false claims. I'm not even suggesting that you "fake it 'til you make it." Oh no! You must BE an expert. If you don't believe you are, your first step is to become one and to believe it. After all, if you don't believe you are an expert, how can you convince your audience that you are?

Establishing yourself as an expert will help grow your business exponentially, and here are some ways it does:

    • build the know-like-trust factor
    • set yourself apart from your competition
    • attract more of your ideal clients to you
    • allow "lurkers" to get to know you before deciding to hire you
    • you are better able to concentrate on your expertise to hone in and improve on what you already know
    • gain greater visibility
    • your credibility will increase
