    Going To The Dogs
    There are a lot of business models out there for improving your management skills, but let me offer you one you’ve probably never tried. Find five dachshunds – the more misbehaved the better – and take them for a walk through your neighborhood. (Do get permission from the dachshunds' people first).I’ve had more than one occasion to try this technique. You see, I have two dachshunds of my own, on

    In Mesa, AZ there is a company, which runs most of AZ, they sell the oil for ships, after minimal filtration, ship it to Houston by rail car. When they use to use it for oiling the roads things were different. Perhaps we should; Go to the Ford Dealership and talk with the service manager, he'll give you a number to call, there has to be an easier way on

    I just learned of another NBA player who has been accused of domestic violence. This is the third or fourth time that this player has had off-court problems which are in addition to numerous on-court issues. I am waiting to hear the lame excuse his team officials are going to use to defend this guy.Oh, did I mention he is an all star?This guy is a cancer on his team and is going to nega
    When considering the executive management decision to launch a mobile oil change business whether it is a small business or a large Corporation there is much to think about besides the obvious things of employee training, equipment, scheduling, marketing, business structure, cash flow and growth. Such unique businesses like mobile oil change business will require additional Business Management Decisions; especially things such as Environmental Controls and perhaps some alternative marketing plans.

    You see, although a Mobile Oil Change Business is rather a simple automotive on-site service business it also makes sense that getting to all those customers and getting rid of the oil collected will take significant planning. When discussing this business management case study with a gentleman going into the business recently he stated;

    “With the networking approach you mentioned I think I could easily have all the business I need, still have to figure out what to do with all that spent oil though.”

    Indeed and these issues must be ironed out before anyone gets too gung-ho with the business plan proformas. Now then to get rid of this used motor oil perhaps we should check with the city, also out at the airport and find out what the Marine Repair Shops and Auto Shops do with it. Obviously they are not using it for heating their shops like other parts of the country? That is to say in the Northern Climates people use waste motor oil to run space heaters for their shops. The gentleman checked with the city and other shops then explained what he had learned;

    “Residents are allowed 2 or 4 1-gallon containers/wk I think. I spoke with the local auto parts stores and they have trouble getting rid of theirs a company Safety Klean out of Plano, Texas”

    Safety Klean? Hmm? I thought they were a Canadian Company, I always get suspicious this way? Safety Klean as I remember has had lots of fines; EPA, although the EPA goes around fining everyone, almost to the point of extortion, like OSHA and other agencies. I have heard stories about them in NJ and many other parts of the country. I wonder why they come out of Plano, TX, hell that is a long-haul considering they come all the way to the CA border from there.

    Indeed, I thought I saw Safety Klean offices in Phoenix, San Bernardino, Bakersfield and Las Vegas too; hell they are everywhere. Is that one of their offices in Plano? How To Create A Brand That Sticks
    Most people, when they hear the word branding, think logos - but in fact, branding is really much more than that. A brand involves blending the image, purpose, and focus of your business, with your core marketing message, and coming up with something which will stick in the minds of people who encounter it. As a business or an independent professional, it is who you are and what you do, packaged neatly
