One more suggestion for the foreign born student is to contact their countries embassy within the United States to see if their country is offering nursing scholarships or scholarships for school in general. There are also books that you can check out in your local library that will help you find scholarships. So much of what is actually out there is not published on the internet, so don’t get caught up in the ads with a lot of flash and promise. Nursing is a difficult but very rewarding career. Anyone who is truly interested in pursuing a nursing career will find a way.
