What makes you friends? Is it the ability to share freely without judgment? Is it an innate comfort level? Being able to depend on their assistance no matter what? The same traits you look for in a really good friend MUST also be present in your true REAL love.
Communication is high on the list and must remain open in the best and worst of times (just like with your friends). Do you have any friends you have NEVER had a falling out with? When it all blows over, you are still friends.
The ability to do nothing - plan nothing and go with the flow.
