Over time, I've trained my brain to be on "alert" for ideas and I discover a lot more ideas than I have time to put pen to paper or fingers to laptop. Not all ideas are equal. Some ideas work well and become books. Some ideas fail to develop. So how do we take an idea and develop it into a plot for a children’s book? How do we work out what to write once we have the initial idea? Here’s a basic plot outline:1. A main character is introduced. 2. The main character’s problem is revealed. 3. Obstacles stand between the main character and their goal. 4. The main character reacts and new obstacles arise. 5. The main character reacts again and new obstacles arise. The tension is mounting. 6. All seems lost. But wait! 7. All is resolved as the story is brought to a satisfactory conclusion. It’s important to remember that a plot is supposed to help the writer and reader. Don’t adhere too closely to the above plot outline if it hinders your writing. Some wr

How To Fight A Speeding Ticket Battle
Cops and prosecutors want all people who get speeding tickets to pay blindly. They have created this money making machine/system to make the most out of everybody who gets a speeding ticket. The good thing is that there's hope and the battle of speeding tickets can be victorious for you if you play by the rules. So you got a speeding ticket. Relax. It's not the end of the world. It could be. After all the average cost of a speeding ticket reaches an average of $800 in United States! Now, that is a lot of money to pay for a speeding ticket. What can you do? The answer is: Use smart weapons.First of all remember to never admit guilt. This is critical. The laws are strict and the cop that issued your speeding ticket may remember certain details from the day of the incident. Just try to never admit guilt.Next, delay is an ally. By all means, try not to go to court. Trust me you don't want to go to there. You can find various excuses for not going to court and delay the procedure. The idea behind this concept is to make it so that the cop will not even remember your case because it will be

Know Your Rights Before Filing For Divorce
When you are standing at the altar saying “I do” with 300 of your friends and family around you, the very last thing on your mind is the possibility of a divorce in your future. Damn the statistics, it cannot happen to me, you think.Think again. Recent studies have shown that the divorce rate is almost at the 50% mark for couple being married in the past 5 years. What is the cause of that? Are people being too reckless with their commitments? Do people really think that the love they feel will see them through anything? The biggest problem leading to divorce is a lack of communication between the partners. It really is a partnership, where each needs to know what the other is doing and thinking on a regular basis, as in daily. You need to make sure that you are both marching to the same drummer with the same goals in sight, both short term goals as well as long term goals, and without that communication, divorce is almost inevitable. Is this a difficult thing? It should not be, but in today’s world where most households have both spouses working, it can prove to be difficult.

Exit Interview Surveys - Why An Online Form Makes Sense
Human resource (HR) departments typically conduct exit interview surveys to gather information from departing employees to help the company improve working conditions, retain existing employees and identify problem areas within the organisation. One of the great aspects of exit interviews is that the departing employee often feels less concerned about the ramifications of 'treading on toes' and hence is typically willing to provide extremely open and honest feedback about their reasons for leaving and their thoughts about what the company could do to improve. However, while exit interviews clearly have their place and are a vital tactic for any organisation serious about retaining their staff, there are many pitfalls to avoid. Some of the key challenges that companies face in conducting exit interviews include:1. Interviewer bias: The person charged with asking the questions may not be 100% impartial or may have negative preconceived notions about the departing employee.2. Interpretation: Often, the departing employee says 'X', yet the interviewer wri

    Arizona DUI Fines
The rising incidences of DUIs (driving under the influence) in Arizona have prompted lawmakers to institute higher fines, making it more difficult for offenders to circumvent the consequences of their actions. The Arizona DUI fines are now pegged at $1,450 for first-time offenders and $3,400 for second-time offenders. This includes standard fines, surcharges (amounting to 80 percent of the fines), additional $500 fine imposed on first-timers, and $1240 for repeat offenders. These additional fines were imposed in August 2005, to augment the standard fines that only covered expenses for court procedures. The additional money goes to improvements in highway safety systems and prison housing facilities, according to Arizona lawmakers. The Arizona Department of Public Safety is adding more police \ along highways to help deter and arrest drivers who go on the road while under the influence of alcohol and other substances. The fines also go to "prison construction assessments," since every DUI offender found guilty needs to serve a mandatory prison sentence.Note that fines actually vary d

Before we get started, you should know that most people experience these stages in this order, and will need to resolve the challenges in each stage before they can move successfully on to the next. Of course there are always exceptions to this rule. But for the most part, you can’t get out of experiencing all of these stages if you want a healthy and fulfilling relationship. Every couple will move through these stages at different speeds, and most people will experience each stage more than once – it is common to fluctuate from one stage to another.*

Okay, now that I’ve given you the basic info, let’s dig a little deeper….
