The image that the king saw in his dream was great in SPLENDOUR, and had an AWESOME shape. Its head was made of gold, its chest and arms were of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs were of iron, and its feet were mixed with iron and clay. This prophetic image walked into the centuries of time.
Trouble Brews in the Palace
Nebuchadnezzar was so troubled by his dream that he sent for his magicians, astrologers, and sorcerers, in order to interpret the apocalyptic dream. The king was so anxious to have his dream interpreted by these men that he threatened the men with death if they did not give him the answers to the image of prophecy. He did not only threaten the men with death, but also told them the manner of death that they would die. The king did not realize that it was only God who could give such a dream an interpretation, because it was He who gave the dream in the first place. Nevertheless, Nebuchadnezzar ordered that all the wise men of Babylon be killed, and that included Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the living God. Daniel and his friends were men of God they prayed that God would show them the interpretation to the king’s dream, so that they would not die. It happened that God heard the prayer of his servants and gave them the interpretation to the apocalyptic image of prophecy. Then, Daniel began interpreting the dream to the king by informing him that the different parts of the image represented the different kingdoms of the earth. He told the king that God had given him a kingdom, power, strength, and glory, and that the golden head of the image was a representation of him. Nevertheless, Nebuchadnezzar was told that after his reign that other nations would follow, in power and might, such as Persia (Iran), Greece, Rome, and other nations. However, some of the nations that were to follow Babylon would be stronger in might and fame, than others. For instance, the fourth kingdom (Rome) would be very strong, so much so, that all other kingdoms would be under her control.

The feet of the image that were mixed with clay and iron are kingdoms that would try to unite with each other. But this unity would not last, yet, the strength of the iron would be in those kingdoms. During the time of alliances, God plan to take over the kingdoms of the world, because the powers that He had invested in us, we abused, caused chaos and destruction in the world. Therefore, He has promised to claim back his world and be the sole ruler of it once again. Before God takes ownership of His earth all earthly kingdoms will be done away with. He will then create it anew and allow it to stand and last forever. I hope you are now beginning to have an insight of why God has given us Bible prophecies. Satan refuses to take on our sins
The Holy Scriptures states that the sins of all those who will gain eternal life, will be placed on Satan. The devil knows this, hence, the reason he causes humans to come up with strange theories, strange behaviors, that are against God. Take the evolution theory for example, what does that theory tells us about God? What does it mean to us personally? It means that to believe in the evolution theory, you are giving up your right to eternal life with God. This theory has disclaimed the power of God and God’s claim as our creator. Unfortunately, many people do not read the Holy Scriptures for themselves; therefore, they are lured away by strange doctrines, theories, immorality, and many others.

The question is, why, are we so quick to believe in what others tell us? Why are so many of us not willing to prove things for ourselves?
