Taking the Sting Out of Employee Evaluations
Employee evaluations serve an important purpose. They let both the employee and the company know how things are going. Ideally, they offer feedback, guidance and recognition; too often, though, they become just another drudgery and serve no real purpose. Here are some ways to improve the experience for both sides. For the Supervisor.1. The number one rule is that an employee must never be surprised by his or her evaluation. Good managers deliver evaluations regularly by praising areas where the employee excels and offering guidance and instruction when the employee falters. It's not fair to your staff to keep them in the dark about their work performance and then spring

Any financial help in the form of new business loans is a blessing in disguise. These new business loans can be secured or unsecured.Secured and unsecured business loans have their own merits and demerits. The very first verses of the 5th chapter of Joshua tell us that the heathen nations in Canaan saw the powerful manner in which the Lord brought His children through the Jordan, and that they were totally demoralized by these events. It would seem that they were absolutely resigned to their fate. It would appear that this would be the perfect time for Joshua to lead the people forward into the attack. However, instead of commanding the people to go forward into battle, God commands them to stay at Gilgal and to do several things that on the surface seem very strange. It even appears that the things they are required to do put them at risk before the enemy.

While the ways of the Lord may seem strange to us, God is always right on time. He knows what he is doing, even when we don’t. It is not ours to understand what God wants us to do; it is for us to be obedient. You see, God never gets in a hurry! He has the liberty to take His time and do things on His schedule. While the things that appear in this chapter seem strange against the backdrop of impending battle, the truth of the matter is God is simply preparing His army to fight. He makes them engage in some things that appear odd, but let me remind you that God’s people often are involved in battles that go far deeper than the physical realm. Dangerous Debt Consolidation Loans
On the surface, debt consolidation loans offer cash-strapped consumers some relief from high interest rates. Looking deeper, consumers should be wary of both the pros and cons of this fast growing practice. In their simplest forms, debt consolidation loans are refinance agreements, second mortgages, or home equity loans. All three loan options allow homeowners to cash out part of the equity in their homes in order to pay off other debts. For borrowers who have watched their homes appreciate in value, a debt consolidation loan can eliminate the burden of multiple monthly payments without significantly affecting the amount of their monthly mortgage payment. A Nation to Die For!
You have been made to believe the government of the United States of America is what you serve to fulfil the commandment to love your neighbor and do your DUTY to God and country. Nothing could be further from the truth. Your parents will not tell you so. Your grandparents will not tell you so. We all have the same brainwashing in common, with the same result. Never a shortage of dutiful recruits to go around the world killing people and dying for money. Yes, for money. E-Book Or Printed Book: What Do You Think?
Having an e-Book replace my favorite dog-eared paperback is not something I want to think about. There is a certain sense of familiarity and comfort while reading a good paperback, sort of like hanging out with a good friend. My trusty paperback can be carried in my purse and pulled out when waiting in the doctor's office, and I can highlight favorite passages or doodle in the margins. In addition, the paperback is both affordable and recyclable. The multimedia, portable, content devices you need to read an e-Book start out at $200. At those prices I can't afford to recycle. It has been 12 years since e-Books have showed up online in places like AOL, before the daw
the matter is God is simply preparing His army to fight. He makes them engage in some things that appear odd, but let me remind you that God’s people often are involved in battles that go far deeper than the physical realm. In fact, before the battle ever begins in the physical, it has already begun in the spiritual. God’s battles are spiritual battles. If we expect to win these spiritual battles we must make the right kind of spiritual preparations.

Israel appeared ready for the battle. They possessed a large army and they faced an enemy that was terrified at their presence. However, God knew that they would never be ready to fight and win the battle until the proper spiritual preparations had been made. That is what this passage is all about. The lesson taught here can help us in our spiritual battles.

Are you ready to conquer your Canaan? If so, you must be willing to make the right spiritual preparations. Let’s take a few minutes to consider the steps that Israel was commanded to take before they could conquer their Canaan. As we do, ask yourself whether or not these things have been taken care of in your life, because until they are, you will never be able to conquer your Canaan.
