RAID - Use Of Multiple Hard Drives For High Storage And Reliability
Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks (RAID) was introduced to increase the level of storage, redundancy and augmented performance in enterprises and server markets, but now have become much common with an end user over the past 5 years. In simple terms, RAID can be defined as a combination of number of low cost hard drives linked together to form a single large capacity storage device with improved performance, high storage capacity and reliability of data storage. Use of RAID storage technology came into significance in late 1980s and has marked its presence as the in-demand data storage medium for corporates, professionals, manufacturing units and individual users for their need of high capacity data storage device.Generally three forms of RAID are used for desktop computer systems – RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 5.RAID 0 is the lowest level of RAID. This level fails to provide any level of redundancy for the data stored in array. If any of the drive fails, all the data is damaged.RAID 1 provides simple form of redundancy for data with the help of mirroring process. This RAID level has two individual drives with same capacity. One is the active drive and the second is secondary drive termed as mirror. When data is written to the active drive, it automatically gets copied to the mirror drive.RAID 5 is the most powerful and effective level of RAID used on desktop computer system. It requires hardware controller card to manage the array but in some desktop operating system it can be done through software. A minimum of three drives are required to build RAID 5 array with similar drives for best performance.Other levels of RAID levels are RAID 0+1, RAID 10 or 1+0, software and hardware RAIDs which are used for the storage of data.A

Tips for Finding Low Cost Internet Providers
The huge number of the companies that connect us to the Internet has created stiff competition among these companies. As a result, so many low cost Internet providers are emerging on the scene that it can be difficult to choose one. People can now enjoy cheap access to the Internet through these services but they serve other purposes as well.My academic advisor asked me about my Internet connection when I was taking online classes through the University of Phoenix a few months ago. I told him that I have an excellent cable company that gives me great rates. The academic advisor suggested that I can do a little more than that, even if he was pleased that I was smart enough to take advantage of one of those low cost Internet providers. He explained that anyone who takes classes online should look into having a good backup system. He also asked me to consider other low cost Internet providers in my area to use as a backup system. The problem with his suggestions is that I didn’t want to spend extra money for a backup no matter how cheap it was.I told the advisor that if anything went wrong with my system, then I will use the computers of my relatives who live close by. I thought that it does not make sense to invest on other low cost Internet providers when I had other resources that are close to home. Unfortunately, it turned out that I was very wrong. You see, I decided to wait until last minute to complete a PowerPoint project for a very demanding class. I thought that I could stay up until the wee hours of the morning and work on it. However, when this assignment was getting underway, there was a rather large group of thunderstorms were raging through my area of the state. As a result, my cable company’s system was disabled. This means that I had no Internet connecti
It seems that lately there has been quite a lot of controversy and disagreement about the history of Creation. This rivalry has been growing for years now, in communities (both religious and scientific), in our schools, and even in our “courts of law”. After such a long, enduring war of beliefs, one must ask the question…are they ever going to find a middle ground? Are these two views of the world so far apart that they can never meet? Perhaps those who argue are simply not willing to let them.

In my opinion, based on my own observations, I believe that both of these “theories” hold an element of truth but are, by themselves, incomplete. I will not say that either belief is “wrong”, but perhaps that willing lack of bias is the reason that these two seemingly separate perspectives fit so neatly together for me. To be quite honest, I believe the only reason that these two “theories” have never officially met in the middle is because of their followers’ blind devotion to being “right” and someone else being “wrong”. (See why do we need to limit God?)

I’m not going to go into great detail about the personal reasons for everyone’s choice and beliefs; I’ve mentioned them in other articles and will probably re-explore them in the future. I will, however, try to start at the beginning…literally. To do this I must make one thing perfectly clear....no matter what it is, a thought or idea, there are always two ways to look at anything. Duality is the basis of perception as much as it is the basis for our belief in “how this all started”. Knowing this, we must explore both perspectives and their root.

Creationism: The belief that all things were created by God, completely, at the Moment of Creation.

Evolutionism: The belief that all things were created over time, adapting based on the environment and the rules of “survival of the fittest”.

The key to both of these beliefs is actually in the definition. Creationists believe God is not subject to Time while Evolutionists believe that all things are subject to Time. These are the opposing perspectives…and they’re both based on the concept of “Time”.

Before continuing I would like to take a moment to expand on the “concept of Time”. I say “concept” because, as with our beliefs, there are two opposing perspectives…each one valid, each one a choice.

One perspective of Time is that it is Linear…meaning it started “sometime” (the beginning) and continues in a straight line to “some other time” (one would assume this means “the end”). This perspective is based on our observation of “cause and effect” and, of course, our idea of “memory” (more on this in future writings).

However, there is another perspective of time that is equally valid but rarely examined (except for the occasional spiritualist or Quantum Physicist). This perspective states that Time itself is an illusion, that only the current Moment exists. This perspective is also based on observation but has been unfortunately labelled “philosophy”.

In truth, one cannot prove either one of these perspectives to be true. You cannot prove that 5 minutes ago happened any more than 5 minutes from now will happen. You can try, many people have, but when it comes

    A List Of Interview Questions
If you wish to prepare yourself in advance for the big job interview coming up, why not familiarize yourself with some typical questions used in job interviews? There are usually two types of questions asked in job interviews. The first set of questions we’ll be discussing generally requires objective answers relating to your qualifications and work experience, as well as those that require you to expound on your personality and attitude.DESCRIBE YOURSELFIt’s a very rare occasion that you meet an individual who has experienced going to numerous job interviews and has never been asked to describe themselves. This question is usually asked at the start of the interview and your answer is usually the sole basis for the first impression your interviewer will have of you.For that very reason, it’s important to keep your answer of moderate length – not too short, but not too long either. Just give them a sneak peek of who you are.EXPLAIN WHY YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE JOBNaturally, this is the right time to state all the positive things about you that would make you the ideal candidate for the job. Remember not to go overboard however, as that would turn your prospective employer off rather than convince them to hire you.WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE COMPANY AND WHY DO YOU WANT TO WORK FOR US?The answers the interviewer would receive in response to this question will help them recognize which applicants are simply interested in the perquisites of the job (high pay, travel incentives, and so forth) and which ones sincerely desire to work for their company.WHY DID YOU LEAVE YOUR OLD JOB?While it’s absolutely necessary that you do not lie about anything related to your previous employment; it’s better, however, not to draw too much attentio

How to Request a Member's Contact Information on eBay?
eBay enables you to directly request the contact information of your trading partner in case you are unable to do so through email. You can request for eBay users who are engaged with your current or recent transactions. A seller in any active transaction can request contact information of bidders on eBay for current transactions as well as in closed transaction of the winning bidder. Similarly, a bidder can request contact information of a seller during an active transaction or a closed one if he is the winning bidder. Moreover, access to international users might be limited due to the International laws.Open an eBay page. On most of the eBay pages you will see the ‘search’ button in the top right corner. For requesting the contact information of a person, click on the link ‘advanced search’ under the search button. On the left side of the page click on the link ‘find contact information’ under the members section.Next type the ‘user id’ of the member and the item number for the current transaction or closed transaction. The requested information will be received on your registered email id. But this information can be used only in the way listed in the eBay’s Privacy Policy. The user will also get your information of whose information you have received. If after requesting you get an invalid contact information then go through the contact information policy on eBay. Also, keep your information updated too.

    The Burden of Debt
Over recent years personal debt in the UK has exploded. Since 1997 the total debt including mortgages was in the region of ?940 million. Approximately 18% of that figure is unsecured credit, accounting for about ?8000 per household. This is a staggering amount of money. With interest rates being raised several times last year, the strain of maintaining our debt is taking its toll. Sources reveal that the UK’s debt “has increased every single month without fail since April 1993”.As it has been relatively cheap to borrow money over that last few years it has been very easy to get access to money. Interest rates are widely predicted to rise further adding even more to the current ?5 billion we are paying every month in interest.According to the FSA (Financial Services Authority) one pound in every 10 we spend is borrowed money. It’s very easy to shop around for good rates when borrowing money. Most of us still buy our financial products on the high street and the big Financial Institutions base the price of their products on what they think is the maximum borrowers are prepared to pay. With the internet people are able to shop around for much better rates and this is driving the average price of borrowing money down. This does pose a catch 22 situation as the cheaper the cost of borrowing becomes the more people will feel they can borrow more. This does breed a nation of people that are living beyond their means. Debt can be very dangerous as you are effectively borrowing from your future to pay for today. The wage rate is not growing in line with rising debts so somewhere along the line something has got to give. This may be in the form of the slightest interest rate rise which may be the straw on the proverbial camels back. One could associate it with a brick that is

More traffic brings more potential buyers, and of course, your business gets improvement as well. But, maybe you are wondering how a blog is related to your online business? A good question. Google, the largest popular search engine on the web, scans web pages to find instances of the keywords you have entered in the search box, and ranks your web by its spiders crawling your content. This is the key why you build a blog, with you continually adding fresh content into your blog, this is your business site can not do it, your blog ranks higher, at the same time, your blog works for your business site by introducing your business on your blog, distinctly, your business is going to change better and better after doing that.So how do you build your blog? This perspective states that Time itself is an illusion, that only the current Moment exists. This perspective is also based on observation but has been unfortunately labelled “philosophy”.

In truth, one cannot prove either one of these perspectives to be true. You cannot prove that 5 minutes ago happened any more than 5 minutes from now will happen. You can try, many people have, but when it comes down to it you are always in the “here and now”. For example, when you started reading this article it was “here and now”, but you’ve moved forward it seems, you’ve progressed….and yet, you’re still “here and now”. I hope this makes sense because it is vital to the rest of this article.

So, the question remains, how can two opposing perspectives meet?

Easily if one can admit that they are both true as much as false. The single biggest cause of strife or separation is our need to be “correct”….this need is based on our own need to feel better about ourselves and, of course, to define ourselves. In fact, without this need, one can see that all perspectives of reality are equally valid. But what do we see?

    In The Beginning

Both the scientific community and the religious community agree on one thing when it comes to creation. They agree that it started somewhere…whether you believe in the Big Bang or The Void (Genesis) the beginning is always “nothingness”.

    The Big Bang

For the most part, scientists believe that all matter, broken down far enough, is the same thing…in fact, this thing is not measurable and beyond description. It is so infinitely small that one could actually say it is without size at all. This “energy” makes up everything, living or otherwise. This energy, in its original form, is the foundation of our material reality.

The Big Bang theory is simply an explanation of the “steps” this energy went through in becoming what we see it to be today.

(For a beautifully well designed chart of the Big Bang Process, visit www.crystalinks.com/bigbang.html)

Remembering the concept of “Time” it is easy to see how this theory came into being. One thing must follow another, and another, and so on…thus, the Big Bang Theory. This theory still states that the “Beginning” is indescribable…in essence, before there was something, there was nothing. That nothingness “evolved” and “expanded” into different variations of itself and, over “Time” formed the Universe. Makes sense, right? Let’s move on.

    The Void (Genesis)

Creation theory is much simpler to explain, and at the same time much more complicated because it delves into “the mind of God”. To put it plainly, creation theory is the belief that all things were created by God at the Beginning. Genesis states that in the Beginning there was “The Void” and “God was the Void and the Void was God”.

If you’ll notice, this theory still believes in that “nothingness” previously described…the only difference here is that “nothingness” had a conscious
