Religion and Online Marketing - The 21st Century Pulpit
While many industries are just getting up to speed in the world of internet marketing people like Rodney Sampson, founder of the World Christian Times, is running, not walking, down the path of real time internet promotions. Recently,Mr. Sampson started working with a leading online marketing agency, In Touch Media Group OB:ITOU (www.InTouchMediaGroup.com), to begin promoting the World Christian Times, using Google’s AdWords search engine marketing service.“I couldn’t believe how many people were on the internet searching for faith based services and products,” revealed Mr. Sampson. He approached In Touch Media Group after hearing about how ITMG had successfully executed an online marketing campaign involving Jim Caviezel, star of Mel Gibson’s movie The Passion of The Christ. In Touch Media Group conducted a national campaign for the non-profit organization Redeem The Vote for which Mr. Caviezel was the spokesperson. Mr. Sampson, having heard of the campaign stated, “I decided to start using the internet as a cyber pulpit to get my message out.”Within days of initiating the campaign preparation for The World Christian Times, Mr. Sampson also arranged
Matthew 25:14-31 (New King James Version)

14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man travelling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

24 “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’

26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.

29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

We all have been given a measure of talents. We may go to church and listen to a man pray eloquently on the microphone and say to ourself that we could never pray like that. But the fact of the matter is that any prayer said from our heart to the heart of God with faith is as good as another. There are many good web sites that offer free prayer and you can write to the people who enquire and send them a prayer this would be using your prayer talent.

You may sit in church and see the lead vocalist in the worship team sing to the Lord, but in your own kitchen and bathroom while you do other things your voice can still make the Lord smile with pleasure and make him happy that on those days its your normal voice that comes from a glad heart that bring him joy. I have not the very best voice in the world and yet on a couple of occasions I have sang to the Lord in an audience as and offering to a church service and the people were very happy to clap. Both times I had no backing music, it’s was my normal voice, why even one time I sang in public and added a couple of my own stanzas of lyrics to the song and a man gave me a hug and had a tear in his eye as he told me my added lyrics really touched him.

In singing I have only one talent, and not the five talent or ten talent voice, yet when I sing I sing with all of my heart to the Lord. I do not perform for an audience I sing to my Jesus and I sing love songs and the songs that are special. I am not sure that many people are blessed and yet I know my Lord is happy with all I sing and He knows that sometimes it’s only singing a chorus that can bring joy into my life such are some of the lows of depression I fall into.

Have you a talent? Every person according to this parable has a talent. We need to invest it. When I was around thirty I read a book called “Please Understand Me” by David Kersley and it said that I had a certain temperament that said that I was a good communicator. In the list of occupations it said I would be good at, it had teacher, Pastor and writer. I have a little gift for writing and from those that have written to me from Ezine articles and feedback I have had I am told that my writing sort of draws you in. Investing your talents is writing to the best of your ability if you have been gifted with the gift of the gab like me.

When you are gifted in something it also can be a pleasure to use your gift and that is why writing puts me in a good mood. Just like writing, preaching makes me happy and I have had a few opportunities to do that in my life and I enjoyed that too. I also did about five talks on mental health last year and was able to communicate information on my illness effectively and make people laugh at the same time.

Why is it Important To Have More Than One Boat Insurance Quote?
Boat insurance? Do you need one? The answer to this question is simple. Obviously, if you don't own a boat, then you won't be needing one. However, if you own a boat of your own or thinking of buying one, then having boat insurance is something you should not take lightly.Boat insurance is necessary as it safeguards your boat against unwanted incidents from happening to it, such as fire and other hazards. Different types of boats have different types of insurance coverage. Now that we know that insurance is very important, then how do you go about getting one? There are many insurance companies out there that offer boat insurance and in order to help you make an informed decision when it comes to this type of thing, you should try to get at least two to three different quotes from the many insurance companies for comparison.Boat insurance can be very expensive and it is very wise if you find out which policies are available beforehand. The quotes have different types of coverage which can be found through an auto insurance company. For example, your insurance will depend on where you live and also the age of your boat.In order to find the

What is the Problem With this House? It's Only for Sale
Maybe ... no, you must have seen them. Those Advertisements. They are different from what you normally see when a House is for sale...Marketing (more than Sales) is surrounded and ruled by emotion. Advertisements for example are seldom (only) about facts and about objective information. Before you are to sell something you should pass through the personal firewall. Your campaign should light a fire. Confidence belongs also to this emotional area.At the same time Sales (more than Marketing) should be objective and rational. After a warming up accomplished by some marketing preparations, there should be a moment of truth; the potential client wakes up from the dream into the real and objective world of needs and necessities. To sell a product as expensive as a house you engage (the client) in a game where subject and object visit the house at the same appointment. You walk through the rooms, you have a look at the garden, and you think about the advertisement you noticed when you drove through the ward;“They are selling me.”You smile. A nice find. But you pass this one. The house is for sale. It is a house you could imagine buying, bu

Attraction Marketing: Put Your Marketing on Auto-Pilot
Years ago when I was looking to add new clients to my consulting practice, I had to proactively go out and seek them. The marketing strategies I used included networking and speaking engagements, along with keeping in touch with my contact list of friends and business associates in the hopes they would refer clients when appropriate. These relationship marketing efforts supported my business 100% in the early years. But, although I'm embarrassed to admit it because I should know better, when I got busy and had plenty of client work, I fell off my marketing wagon.I just didn't have the time. Or, I guess one could argue, I just didn't make the time to keep up my proactive marketing efforts. So what happened if I lost a client or two, and suddenly needed more work? I'd have to quickly rev-up my marketing in the hopes I could generate more work in a short amount of time. Not an ideal scenario by any stretch. But it's also pretty typical, especially for independent service professionals. Then, several years ago, I discovered attraction marketing. With attraction market

You have many things that you can do. Can you type? Have you a gift for typing more then a speed of twenty five words a minute? There are many preachers I am sure that would love to have there sermons transcribed and presented in booklet format the next week to people who would love to read the sermon again, not as his notes outlined the sermon but how the Holy Spirit brought the rhema word out on the day. That is a talent you can use for the Lord.

Can you proofread? There are many writers that would love to write for this online article site like me that might not have good grammar and English and yet would have the courage to write on this Ezine site if someone would correct all their English mistakes. I am sure Ezine articles would send an email about to the Christian writers advertising your service. Why you could even write to me and help me!

You only have to think of your talents and it doesn’t take much work to apply how the kingdom of God would be better off with your talents invested. Money is often the last thing the Lord needs. People need to know the Lord and his desires and his heart and his heart is no better expressed in the talents parable the Jesus spoke above.

We need to use our talents.

Luke 18:18-23 (New King James Version)
18 Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 19 So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. 20 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”[a] 21 And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.” 22 So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 23 But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.

Some would say a good use of our talents would be to use our money for the poor of the world and for the Gospel to the poor countries. The rich young ruler would have been exceedingly blessed if he had of sold his wealth, given to the poor and followed Jesus for three years, and yet so many of us gloss over this as it does not apply to us.

But the whole Bible applies to us. And this is no exception. We should honour God with all that we have been given. We should look to the needs of the other countries and the poor in our city.

We might not have much money after bills and clothes and the like to rub together for ourself but we could spend one night a week cooking in a homeless shelter. We might not be able to do much but a poor inner city pastor could find something for us to do for him.

Do we really follow Jesus today? Most of us did not sell all our pearls that we own to purchase the pearl of great price which is Jesus as He showed in the parable. Most of us did not sell all we own to buy the field with the hidden treasure and that is why so many of our lives are so dry and empty and not flowing with the Holy Spirit as the hidden treasure isn’t being found by most people.

Many think a sinner’s prayer gets you into heaven but Jesus says on judgement day that His words will judge us. That’s not a once saved always saved sinner’s prayer that’s a life of following Jesus and His commands.
