His second - or assistant administrator - was a back-up, in case something happened to the administrator, the governing body would be able to continue. Well, as happens so often, the heady power gained by the governing bodies started to corrupt them.

One year, a man decided he wanted to be the Administrator. This man became the Administrator and led the country for the maximum time allowed under the laws of this country. He had told one of his minor assistants to find an assistant administrator to be with him. The minor assistant chose himself to be the assistant administrator. There were some lingering questions how this minor assistant managed to convince others he should be second in command.

After a time, the son of this Administrator became the new Administrator, and the same assistant to the father became the assistant to the son. There were questions how this new Administrator gained this office. That question became moot, because of the new laws that were passed. When the people finally woke up as to what was happening, there was an uprising. The army of this country would not shoot the civilians, so the private army was called in to take over.

This private army consisted of ex military people. Their loyalty was not to their country but to their pay checks. The proud people of this beautiful country became indentured servants to those in power. Once complete control was once more established, and the people were subjugated under the new laws imposed, the new Administrator brought in a new Assistant. This new Assistant was a blond man, named Lucifer. Just as the new Administrator had one pulled the strings of the Administrator when he was the Assistant. Lucifer now took complete control of this country. Even though he was blond, Lucifer was referred to as the Dark One.

Lucifer was very busy. Just as the Administrator was actually his assistant, he had other assistants ruling other countries of this world. Soon this entire world was plunged into complete chaos. Death and destruction ran rampant. Lucifer decided everyone, all over this world, had to prove their loyalty to him. He had everyone branded with a certain mark. Those that refused the mark were tortured then killed. Where people of this world had prayed to the Higher Powers, Lucifer turned these places of prayer into houses of worship to him.

Slowly, very slowly, people of this world began to form secret groups which were completely opposed to Lucifer and his dominions. They prayed, in secret, to the Higher Powers for help to overcome this evil that permeated their world. Their prayers were answered.

The Winged Ones appeared. The dominions of Lucifer saw the Winged Ones and were afraid. They ran back to their master, Lucifer, and asked for help in fighting the Winged Ones. Lucifer just laughed at them. They had sold their souls for power, now it was time to collect on that sale.

The people of the world had a choice. Either they could continue to live under the rule of Lucifer, or they could fight and probably die to oppose him. They did not realize it, but the people of this world actually had three choices, not two. The first choice was to choose life. Those that chose life actually chose death. They chose to live under evil. The second was to choose death. These people committed suicide rather than live under evil. They did not realize there was a third choice.
