Man is now God and Self-righteousness rules, OK!!??

The 21st Century Pharisaical Religion of Political Correctness!

Are we now ruled by 21st Century Pharisees, the Pharisees of Political Correctness, a new legalistic religion, the new self-righteousness of men and women who enforce their self-righteous agenda on the rest of us by and through their politicised 'thought police'?

Here is a recent example or the end result of the 'new righteousness' of the powerful self-righteous elite that now 'governs' the United Kingdom - in action:

A man, albeit very thoughtless and irresponsible, drives his car after having had only 2 hours sleep in the previous 24 hours; he falls asleep at the wheel of his car and collides with a cyclist thereby killing him. This avoidable accident correctly lands the man in court who is then incorrectly handed down a five year jail sentence. The accident took place on a fast dual carriage way where it could be reasonably argued that this is the type of road, much like a motorway (freeway), that cyclists are and should be barred from using. Always remember too that, in the UK, cyclists do not pay road tax as do motorists. The driver was travelling at 60 mph - within the speed limit.

Whatever way we look at this, this man did not set out to deliberately kill, maim or injure anyone. He did however deserve punishment for his thoughtless and, in some ways, selfish irresponsible actions. There again we cannot compare this man's actions with those of a drink driver who knows there is a law against drinking and driving. There is no law telling us how many hours sleep we need before we drive, but no doubt plans to change this by the 21st century Pharisees are well underway!!

The above is a first class example of spiteful vengeful judgementalism or legalism, not justice. The above case has nothing to do with justice!!

Compare the above example to the backdrop of the overall situation in the criminal 'justice' system in the UK. In Britain today there is a prisons crisis, so much so, there are hundreds of new convicts sentenced every day, yet not enough prison cells to put them in. 'Government' is literally instructing judges not to sentence criminals with prison terms because there is no room for them. I am talking here about real criminals, not otherwise upright people who make mistakes and unintentionally or accidentally kill someone. This means violent thugs and thieves and drug dealing vermin are virtually let off with community service (with re-offending almost a certainty). So here is 'justice' under Political Correctness in 'Cool Britannia': An otherwise upright subject/citizen is banged up for five years for making a serious mistake, whilst violent criminals, often guilty of causing intentional serious bodily harm and death through knife wounds, roam free doing community service.

Now the question is, is this new or have we seen a record of it all before? Here below is what The Lord Jesus Christ had to say about the same type of governing system - a governing system that still rules us today; fanatical on the letter of the law but totally devoid of the Spirit of the law. A totally bankrupt, hypocritical corrupt system of governance with no justice for the people they are meant to serve.
