Steps To Successfuly Eliminate Business Debt
Any debt consolidation plan will not work unless the debtor sticks to it and does not deviate. This should be obvious, but with the curve balls often tossed your way, it may prove to be more challenging than one would think. There are some steps you can use, though, to help you stick with it. If you are facing business debt, these steps can be applied as well as debt is debt whether a consumer or business.First, literally cut up your credit cards except for one to use in the event of an emergency. Do not freeze them as is a popular tip. You will still have access to them. Do not simply hide them. Obviously, it will not take much to retrieve them when you get the urge to spend.Second, you should also cancel your credit lines and credit card accounts

Student Credit Cards Pros and Cons
Most people agree that learning to manage one’s personal finances at an early age is imperative. I certainly did not have much guidance in this area when I was studying and between seeing my friends and cramming for exams it did not rate as a high priority! Financial independence is something most human beings strive for yet very little is taught on this subject at schools and universities alike. It is a shame that such critical life skills are rarely addressed in our youth unless our parents are particularly diligent in this area, as many of us have to learn our lessons the hard way.Whilst at university I observed many of my friends struggling with student credit card repayments. These guys had fallen into the easy trap of spending money they didn’t real

The Cold War - Back By Popular Demand
"There was an equilibrium and a fear of mutual destruction. And in those days one party was afraid to make an extra step without consulting the other. And this was certainly a fragile peace and a frightening one, but as we see today, it was reliable enough. Today it seems that the peace is not so reliable." - Russian President Vladimir Putin, February 12, 2007It has been over 17 years since the Berlin Wall fell. Many of today's college students were still in diapers at the time. Some of us were old enough to watch it crumble. And as we watched democracy triumph over tyranny, as the masses of people used sledgehammers, bulldozers, and their bear hands to tears down the wall that had separate

    Mortgage Brokers
When applying for a home loan, it can be difficult to ascertain your options and the best deal out there. Mortgage brokers can help you shop for the best loan for your situation.Mortgage BrokersA mortgage broker is an independent professional assisting homebuyers with their mortgage needs. Instead of a loan officer for a bank, a mortgage broker typically works with tens or even hundreds of lenders. This independence lets mortgage brokers hunt for loans that fit the credit history and particular lending needs of a person.Let’s assume you have less than stellar credit when you apply for a loan at ABC Lender. The lender pulls your credit report and determines you don’t qualify for any of the loans offered by the lender. The lender is going to d

Giant Tsunami Coming to Atlantic Seaboard on or About May 25?
Perhaps you may not have heard of the Comet which is passing by Earth which has been fragmented into many pieces. Well some folks are predicting that pieces will hit the Earth and land in the Atlantic Ocean triggering a huge Earthquake along the Mid-Atlantic Underwater Ridge, which would send a Tsunami towards our Eastern Seaboard in the United States.Bummer indeed, but they are also saying that the Tsunami would not be like the little Tsunami we saw after the Sumatra Quake or the Indonesia Tsunami; as this one would be some 600 feet in height you see? Wow, that would wipe out a good chunk of America for sure. Of course NASA says this is just conspiracy theory run wild.Nevertheless meanwhile on or about May 25 many of these fragments of comet 73P-S

    Be Interested, Not Interesting
I had an interesting conversation on the phone during class the other day. This took place over the course of 20 minutes or so with the class listening in on the conversation. Here are some of the details I can recall.I called on a prospect that was entrenched with another supplier. After asking and receiving his permission to speak we covered all the reasons why he liked his current supplier. At this point my goal was to pinpoint what was of importance or value to him. I asked if he was aware of the current recall of a certain part of equipment his supplier recalled. My intention was not to attack the supplier rather instead to be sure he was aware of a potential problem. He said he was aware and that the supplier had done a good job of handling the situ
