Is ego really evil? We are teaching kids in schools and even colleges that those people with strong self-confidence, self-esteem and ego are some how evil. But it simply is not so. But why are we doing this? It appears we want to make a whole bunch of sheeple who will not stand up for anything, merely blindly follow. So lets call them the Sheeple of Tierra del Fuego shall we?

May I ask why organizations, groups and even the sheeple themselves are so afraid of people with an "ego" as that is somewhat puzzling to me? Is it because you cannot control and manipulate the people who have a strong self-worth, so much so that it exudes in their presence?

Not to be insulting or insinuating if you think ego is evil, rather to point out that other organizations use this posture to control. For instance Religion, societies, coaches, schools and governments use this technique. So if you proclaim ego = bad then you are probably following someone else's plan for your life rather than living it on your own terms; in doing so you have become a sheeple.

You should ask yourself if your group is afraid of ego and afraid of the "Unreasonable Man" who causes change. If this is the reason you might like to look for another symptom and that is all groups that hate ego, actually are simultaneously promoting change using only their vision and if you look at their leader, you can bet he or she has a whopping ego.

So, are you merely being convinced ego is bad by your superiors, teachers, etc so that you force down your ego and self esteem to comply, thus allowing them to make you follow? And if you are; Why do you do that? If you cannot find the one with the ego in charge ask yourself, who is in charge of this mess anyway? And to that point, who is in charge of this vision?

If someone tells you that your ego is not allowed and you have earned it, show them the door, why follow those unfit to lead?
