    •Do 50 sit-ups in under two minutes, followed by a two-minute rest
    •Do six pull-ups, followed by a 10-minute rest
    •Run 1.5 miles in boots and long pants in less than 11.5 minutes

    While the Navy Seals cover every possible angle of attack, their specialty is water. During training, the new recruits will learn and be required to complete:

    •a fifty meter swim underwater
    •tie a knot underwater
    •take a drown proofing test
    •take a basic lifesaving test
    •swim twelve hundred meters in a pool with fins in forty-five minutes
    •swim one mile in a bay with fins in fifty minutes
    •swim one mile in the ocean with fins in fifty minutes
    •swim one and a half miles in the ocean with fins in seventy minutes
    •swim two miles in the ocean with fins in ninety-five minutes
