Are You A Slave To Your Business?
If you own your own business and you're struggling with too much responsibility and not enough free time, you're not alone. Too many of us get caught up in working IN a business rather than ON it. Here are eight tips for transforming yourself from a slave to your business to a business owner whose business runs without your being there. 1. Don't try to do everything yourself. Yes, it's

Organically grown vegetables and fruits are safer for soil, human body, and water supply. Next time you shop look for locally grown farmer's markets which carry health food and groceries.

If every person could find little ways like these to make a difference, our environment could be sustained. It can be exhausting to think about all the help our environment needs and changes that need to be made to ensure our planet is livable in the future. Any effort helps and combined efforts can make a very big differenc

    Free Demographics or Updated Data?
During your search, you may encounter free demographic data. If data is data, then free is better, right? Not necessarily! Census data and commercial data do vary, at times so significantly that you may come to the wrong conclusion by using the latter. Let’s take a look at each so that you can make the best decision when purchasing data or reports. The best place to start is with the nature of the Census itself. Mandat
It is easy to become very overwhelmed with all the chatter about global warming and pollution. When it comes to saving the environment we should all do our share. The solution should be to find simple but important things that will make a difference as well as making an effort to get others to take part. I am offering five easy suggestions that can make a difference:

    1. Recycle
Haven't we all heard this word, 'recycle', more than once. But do you know the importance of recycling? It is important because it reduces waste we dump into our landfills, and recycling cuts energy usage because the cost and energy of making a product from scratch is much greater than making a recycled product. There are also benefits in that pollution is reduced. Most garbage services will gladly offer you recycling information and containers to get you started and also, check your local directory for a local recycling center, which takes products like plastics, aluminum and paper products too.

    2. Save Energy
All of us can do our part to save energy. A simple measure would be to move your thermostat lower a few degrees in colder months, and move it slightly higher in warmer months. This will reduce carbon dioxide emissions too. Don't forget to turn off and unplug appliances and lighting fixtures when they are not being used too. This saves energy. Small, fluorescent light bulbs cost less to burn and saves energy, more so than regular incandescent ones. Turning them off when not in use is better yet. We must all make the effort to save our precious resources and these are just a few beginning easy measures that will help.

    3. Fuel Efficiency
Driving a fuel efficient car is extremely important to cut down on air pollution and save gas; however, this is not an option for everyone. Other ways to be more fuel efficient include walking whenever possible, car pooling, or taking public transportation. Even turning your car off when waiting or sitting idle can be very beneficial. Combining errands and cutting down on driving time is necessary. If everyone could do their part, a huge impact could be made on our pollution.

    4. Chemicals
Industrial run-off, like pesticides and chemicals, are proven teratogenic and carcinogenic effectors. Our environment is adversely effected by so many things we have adopted in our way of life, such as detergents, chemicals and solvents, lead and other toxins. Educating the public about the effects of what is dumped in our streams and in our air and environment from manufacturing and other means, is a beginning step toward national and world improvement.

    5. Buy Organic/Local
A small measure that would reduce transportation costs of produce from state to state would be to consume locally grown fruits and vegetables. Organically grown vegetables and fruits are safer for soil, human body, and water supply. Next time you shop look for locally grown farmer's markets which carry health food and groceries.

    Global Integration
Goods and services produced in one part of the world are increasingly available in all parts of the world. International travel is more frequent and international communication is commonplace. International travel has been boosted by a growing airline industry and many persons now travel abroad for both business and leisure. The airline industry also facilitates the quick movement of migrants and countries such as Canada can

Put a Spin on Your Idea!
Eight or nine times out of ten, picking up and leafing through a magazine's or book's table of contents, you will find at least one or more articles or chapters that will catch your attention immediately. Never mind that that article or chapter's subject had been written about many times before. The one that caught YOUR attention stood out, most likely, because it put the topic in a new perspective. For starters, that

Inventories in Rental Properties in the UK
An Inventory is essential for any letting these days be it furnished or unfurnished. (If the property is unfurnished it still would normally have carpet, windows, power points etc and all these should be taken into account.) A few years ago it was not heard of to use or even find a professional inventory clerk “north of Watford” in England, but times have changed.WHAT IS AN INVENTORY - An inventory is a bindin
